| Angelica sighed sitting next to Aoi.The old king felt her move and waked up yawning."What time is it?" he asked showing his whit teeth."Four in the morning." the woman replyed looking at the clock on the wall in front of her. |

| Crusoe said "Since you two are up... I can rest my eyes for a few minutes..." and in seconds he was snoring softly slumped against the wall with his sword in his arms. |

| "Poor guy." Aoi yawned as getting up."I'll make breakfast." Angelica said to none in particulary,after throwing a short and carring look towards Crusoe,she got in the kitchen,where her knife soon got heared."Mmm....smells like a sandwich." Aoi grinned. |

| Crusoe dreamed, he dreamt about the orphanage. Where he was fed in a large cafeteria a small bowl of something about 2 times a day normally and wore ragged clothing year round. The he was forced to train in many combat disciplines, many of the children died at that place. From malnutrition, disease, bullying from other orphans or the cartakers, or from the training. But despite these awful dreams, Crusoe showed no expression or emotion on his face. He'd learn to shut such things down log ago... |

| Aoi sensed Crusoe's dreams."Oi,madame,I think ya should visit this guy's origin place...and try to make him more human." he wishpered as folowing his master in the kitchen.Angelica raised an eyebrow and throwed him a make silence look.Aoi gulped and,mumbling a "Damn",he sat on his paws at her legs. |

| His dreams shifted moreso onto the training, where he was given a sword and tossed into what everyone called the Nightmare Dungeon. You see, with all the dead orphans they had no space for a real cemetary, so they threw the corpses of children from ages 2 to about 16 down there to rot. Well their spirits never left that room, resultiing in a dungeon full of Zombies and assorted undead. They also saw this as the perfect oppurtunity to train young warriors to be as fighters... Crusoe was one of these fighters. |

| Aoi was perplexed.His mind-reading could see dreams,and this guy's memory was just so dark.Mumbling for himself another "Damn",he chewed the huge sandwich Angelica gaved him. |

| He remembered seeing things... terrible things. He couldn't been older than 9 years old and they gave him a cheap iron sword and told him they come check on him and few others (a dozen tops) in a few hours and they tossed them into the dungeon and locked the door... he always made it but only like 2-3 others made it with him. He remembered seeing bodies of children, some being no older than 2 crawl up to him and try and eat him and he decapitated and destroyed th. It was during this time that he honed his skills with fire... fire consumes anything. |

| Angelica finished her sandwiches and arranged the table.Aoi got two more giant sandwiches on a plate.Getting close to Crusoe,she sat in her knees,in a dilema if to wake him up or not. |

| During his childhood at the orphanage he was afraid of the dark. So afraid of the flesh eating things that dwelled in them, the first time he was sent into that dungeon he almost died... but something awoke in him. His power was unleashed and he confronted his fears, at his fears he roared at the monsters and breathed true dragonfire. From the on by his fellow orphans and the caretakers gave him his nickname 'forked tongue' for his fiery breath and for him after that night speaking only when he had to. He was broken on the inside and he knew it. But that didn't stop him from graduating the orphanage and growing into the young man he is now, seeking a better tomorrow... |

| Sticking her lips on his forehead for a second,Angelica wishpered softly in his ear:"Breakfast is ready.Is seven in the morning.". |

| Crusoe opened his eyes and looked at Angelica who was mere inches from his face, he blushed and said "Aye". He tried to shake his dreams off in his mind, but they always came back to him... |

| "Nightmares?That's something we have in common." Angelica asked and answered in the same time,helping him get up. |

| "Nightmares? No... not nightmares, just some memories of me and my friends playing during our childhood" muttered Crusoe as he shook the blankets off. |

| Angelica keept silent,it was no use in starting an word fight."Well,than I hope you slept well.I sure didn't." she said whit a smile,but the last part was more for herself. |

| He smiled and said "Plenty of time to sleep well when your dead" he walked into the kitchen leaving his sword near the threshold where he slept. |

| "True.But since I don't wanna die to soon..." Angelica replyed as she sat on one of the armchairs. |

| Crusoe said "Legends don't die... they just fade away" and he grabbed one of the remaining sandwiches on the table. |

| "Yes,but I'm just a host for the Arcane dragon.So,as a legend,only my name will stay.Sad life." Angelica said as chewing her giant sandwich. |

| "I won't forget you... nor would the rest of the Dragon people. You are our last true goddess and Ancient, you will be with us forever" he said looking at her dead in the eye. |

| "Funny.I,the weakest among them,survived." Angelica said just as dead in eyes,reffering to her sisters. |

| "Maybe" he shrugged "Maybe because you have a final destiny that you have to perform before you fade, the other Ancients had their destinies and trials... maybe you still have yours yet to complete?". He put the sandwich back down and said "But let's put such dark talk behind us my lady... where do we look for the rest of your warriors?" |
|
| "A revenge,that's it." she replied dark."Gouka should tell me when new warriors answer the quest.Till than,all we can do is training...and more training." Angelica answered whit a bored sigh finishing her sandwich. |

| "Aye" said Crusoe nodding and he leaned against the wall. |
|
| "I would like to know...why you act like a servant?" she asked Crusoe while patting bored Aoi's head. |
|
| "Because I am one, I am serving an Ancient as Warrior should" said Crusoe monotone |
|
| "First of all,you're first a living bean.Means you should not do that...I hired you as a comrade,not as an servant." Angelica said looking at him. |
|
| "Regardless of how you want to treat me, does not change my status as Dragon. You are on top of society and I am at the bottom. I fight, kill, and die so you and the other 'greater' Dragons can live without fear of humans and evil. And I am proud to do so..." said Crusoe still in monotone. |

| "Pfft.When I said I go after society.I'm just a human host,receipe of a flame that awaken who I am.But,anyway..I just hope time will erode the brainwashing they made to you...poor kids." Angelica mumbled melancholic. |

| "Brainwashing maybe, but that's who I am: A Warrior that serves" said Crusoe, thinking about his dream of being Ancient as he said this but he pushed that off to the side. That was private and some would call that blasphemous... |

| "Well,you can upgrade." Angelica answered. |
|
| "Only if I can become more powerful or do something worthy of notice from the greater Dragons" said Crusoe knowing this all to well. |

| "Both are possible.Helping me,that's what you do." Angelica replied as she was still patting Aoi. |
|
| "It is an honor to do so my lady" said Crusoe smiling slightly he left the threshold to grab his sword and look at it. It was dark and scary looking blade with what looked like an eye set in the pommel. |

| Angelica sighed unpleasing.Leaving the room,she headed to her hot springs deep in ground,near her cave.Relaxing...how good it was. |

| Crusoe sighed and looked at Aoi and said "Did I do something wrong?" |

| "Kind of." the old king said."She hates when peoples look up at her,she likes to consider herself normal and not a supreme god." he added shruggling his shoulders. |

| "Well... in a matter of speaking she is..." said Crusoe sounding confused, Crusoe has always known his place in society. Why didn't she? |
|
| Guessing the guy's thought,Aoi grinned large."Because,she hates to feel superior.All this takes over on her,and she uses her status only in special cases.She is like a shadow,silent in acting." |

| "Aye" said Crusoe understanding the situation a little better now... |

| Aoi shruggled his shoulders,and mumbled an whatever.Angelica appeared back,whit wet hair and rosey cheeks. |

| "Better my lady?" asked Crusoe not looking at her... |
|
| "Kinda." she replyed not looking at him either."Pfft." Aoi mumbled annoyed by them. |

| Crusoe raised an eyebrow at the familiar, and looked at the sword and the sword's eye blinked at him and he nodded at it as if to agree with him... |

| Angelica narrowed her eyes and throwed a look to Aoi,and he throwed one back."Well,since is morning,we should visit the local market.Than do the lunch training.How that sounds?" she than asked. |

| "Sounds good to me my lady... but my lady? Are wegoing to a human market?" said Crusoe looking up from his sword. |

| "Yes,my food reserve is allmost empty.Plus I need to ask the blacksmith something." Angelica answered.Aoi faded away,to reapear as a little demon cat on Angelica's shoulder."I stay in the basket,me wants apples." he chuckled. |

| Crusoe nodded and put on his jacket and put his sword on his belt and nodded that he was ready to follow... |
