| This episode had potential for Hiro to finally make some progression. However none of that took place here at all. The only thing that came out of this episode was seeing the teamwork of Reiri & Riza. Hiro received quite a beat-down and at the end he does absolutely nothing to defend himself. A simple charge towards the vampire would've been better than nothing. It's gotten to the point where it's ridiculous that Hiro hasn't experienced any sort of progression after all the countless kidnapping and beat-downs. The anime has made it a regular joke about Hiro being completely useless all the time. He's aware of being a soldier and the protector of Hime yet he continues to do nothing in order to better equipped himself for battle. All he does is call out "Hime" name as if that'll put a dent against his enemy or something. The entire problem with this show really stems from Hiro being a worthless main character. |
