I can't figure it out by the pacing of the story, but the quality of the OP/ED and animation is making me lean towards a longer season..anyone know?

Most likely 12/13 episodes. Slice of Life shows like this usually don't run for longer than that.

Hopefully, this show is only 12-13 episodes. I don't think A-Channel has nearly the popularity or amount of material that 24-episode slice-of-life shows such as Lucky☆Star, K-ON!!, or Nichijou have to work with.

Heck, A-Channel is just about as normal as they come. Too many episodes and it wouldn't have any place left to venture~

I did some research, and the Manga is a 4 panel that's relatively recent, it's probably a short season; 4 panels don't have much to work with unless creative license is taken, and experience shows that, in general, when anime directors take creative license the results are...gory.
