| Update: Location changed to Anime Pop (map) at 6:00 PM Alright guys! 3 out of 4 of us have agreed on Thursday evening, so Thursday evening it is. As of now, I request we meet at the Collin Creek Mall in front of Mr. Pretzel at 6pm and go from there. IF Kuroshi if able to come, we can change to a more central meeting place if necessary, or I can provide a ride. We're stretched from Frisco to Mesquite, so I'm willing to make compromises! Next, if anyone joins the club between now and then, feel free to send me a private message and I'll gladly factor you into our plan! Lastly, I will send out a text to check here if there are any changes to the plan! Rules for Meet-Up: 1. Come prepared to watch anime. Maybe a lot. Bring anime with you and we'll vote on what to watch or take turns showing an episode so we get a good variety! 2. Bring cash JUST IN CASE we decide to order out (because some of us a are lazy-ass otaku). Anime, games, and Gundams are hungry work. 3. Although feel free to bring snacks and drinks. 4. No alcohol if minors are present. No getting wasted if they aren't. I'm not cool, and I'm engaged, so let's not put me (currently the only female) in an awkward position. 5. If rides are needed, let me know in advance so we can try to find a way to get you there. 6. No creepy stalkers allowed. 7. Um...If I think of something else, I'll post it. | Oh, and one addition. This should be a given (I'd hope) but no illegal activities. (Pirating doesn't count, as we are otaku and it is expected) If I am caught anywhere near drugs minors drinking/smoking, I could get kicked out EVEN IF I'm not the one committing the crime. Again, I'd hope that this was a given, but idiots exist and they may choose to join this club. |

| First meet-up successful! :D Shuz and I met at AnimePop, then went to my place and watched anime. Billy met us, we went to Ihop, and went back and watched MORE anime! For those who attended, I'll be posting the list of anime that we watched so you can update your lists without having to have amazing memories. ^_^ Today We Watched: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica epsiode 1 GANTZ episodes 1-3 Phantom: Requiem For the Phantom episode 1 Cat Shit One (only one episode) When we decide the next meet-up (probably within the next week) I'll start a new thread! Hope the people that came had fun and hope the people that couldn't are able to attend next time! :D |
