| While I was checking my list, I saw that this show now had an episode count and it was 13. As an anime original, it's hard to tell how the story will go. But will 13 episodes cover the whole plot about the Key of Nostradamus? Then again, the earlier Anime no Chikara projects are only 12, 13 episodes long, respectively. Thoughts? |

| I don't know if they'll take their time or rush things. But if they take their time, they might decide to do a second season, depending on how this one is received. |

| Shorter series with the option of putting out another season if the show gets good ratings is probably less risky than longer ones. Anime no Chikara is still young and needs to establish itself as a slot, so I think 13 episodes is the best choice. Personally I'd rather see more of this, though. |

| Granted making this series too long would ruin it, but can it get the plot resolved in a clean way in 13 eps is tricky. They have to have a few more Occult encounters, some comedy, resolves Mikazes true intentions, some development for Bunmei, settle things with the Vice Prez, and see how Maya ends up at the end. Id prefer a simple 24, make the first half episodic and then cover the plot, but still 13 might be enough I hope. |
| I think 13 is going to be fine. They've got a good pace going and each episode so far has addressed the plot in some way. Granted, it is pretty awesome. It'll be sad when it's over. |
| I'm fine with a 13 episode series, though I wouldn't mind it bumping up to 20 odd. It'll be over by the end of the year and will be easy to re-watch, like Durarara.;) The downside of anime exclusives is the fact that you can't get your 'fill' elsewhere and by elsewhere, I mean Manga.:( My one and only Mecha is GunxSword, which is anime only; I felt a tad empty after it finished. Atleast this series will have some specials. |
