I think an arm hug's the most appreciation of Ginko we've seen yet, but you know for a mushi-shi love doesn't come easy :D I don't know, but I did like the episode. Good to see Ginko can still get caught in the occasional trap, although I guess the last ep showed the same thing in that regrard.

I was surprised that Suzo was able to carry Ginko from the top of the mountain, back home in the snow and at night, all by herself :O

I wouldn't mind a bit of romance either, Suzo and Ginko would make a good couple :3

Loved the episode, but one thing didn't make sense. Ginko attracts mushi, so how come no mushi were attracted even though Ginko was there from winter to spring. The fact that he's asleep shouldn't make any difference, should it?

Touka: Let's not let details ruin a good story. =)

I was half-hoping Ginko will open up to some romance. They were already on good enough terms to drop the '-san' honorific. Hopefully he finds some way to overcome being a Mushi-magnet by the end of the series, and comes back.

I like the way the ladies are drawn in this anime, I find them all attractive. =D

I loved this episode! Although one thing i'm still trying to figure out is that the butterfly mushi makes you go to sleep and takes your energy during the winter and if you catch one and keep it until spring, it will wake you up by the smell it emits?

aw man. there goes a perfect relationship and for ginko to settle down but thats impossible for him since he attracts mushi everywhere he goes. Plus the fact in past episode 11 another mushishi like ginko happened to actually stay in one place and settle down though ended up being the cause of his newfound families death cause of him bringing mushi in the village. I'm sure ginko had that in the back of his mind and realized the mistakes of the encounter he had made in his journey.

That's the only way romance is shown in Mushishi. Ginko was weak this winter because he was bound to the warmth of the house, as well as the boy - to the Mushi. He knew it was not so easy to move on, but staying was not the thing he wanted to do. I liked that episode. As like #12, it shows Ginko as a person, not as a Mushishi.

Yeah... You said it right T-T.. Totally agree... You said the things that I wanted to say; thanks for expressing yourself so beautifully.

And... The hints of romance were huge... It wasn't just a 1.5 seconds hug... It was much, much more. Almost everyone felt it...

Yeah it was a nice sweet episode. I can tell ya travelling mushi-shi is not a job Id run out to get!

They should just travel together. It didn't seem like there was much there for them on that mountain anyway. The kid could even become Ginko's apprentice since he loves Mushi so much. Or there's always the option of yearly booty calls, depending on what Ginko wants.

Lol if from insensitivities someone can repel Mushis I think I can.

Hint of romance...? Well I don't think it's that visible. Yeah, it's the only one, so maybe it deserves all the discussion but...

Still, this one hikes up to my favorites' list as well. Winter and spring and hibernation... Too enchanting for me.

the only thing i don't understand is why he waited a year to come back, instead of that spring when he promised :|

and i guess if he's sleeping the mushi aren't attracted to him? since he slept for the rest of winter.. o.O

but nonetheless, it was a good episode.

Very surreal episode. The flowers blooming were just enchanting.

I don't really agree with any sort of Ginko x whatever pairing; that's just not the point of Mushi-shi, though Artland handled it very well. The weak people in winter comment was almost poetic, too. Great ending to another excellent episode.

Another brilliant ep.

The butterflies, the flowers and those squirrels and lizards. I want to sleep there too. xD

Anyway, I was also expecting to have little bit of romance here but oh well. :D

And Ginko's last line was kinda interesting.

The word "weak" might refer to being emotional. Can't think of much closer word to this.

If I'm not wrong, it would mean that people tend to have much stronger bonds during

winter coz they're spending much more time together thus becomes "weak" in terms of feelings.

I don't know if I'm saying the right words. lol

Enchanting episode once again.

People are weaker on winter so they choose to stay the most at that season; they feel allured by the warmth of a home, their inhabitants, the falling snow and the cold wind. They fall into soft feelings.

… Everyone mentions about the “romance” yet I don’t see it anywhere.
I only see a familiar concern on their part, as looking for support on someone for the figure you didn’t have the luck to have as yours; that’s my perception.

The butterfly was fascinating. One of the most interesting and simple creatures, not to mention pretty, we’ve seen until now.
I think, then procrastinate.
Therefore, I am.

I'd assume that Ginko just thought he was going to wake up so he wanted to come back in the winter and follow the boy and figure everything out.

The comment at the end was priceless. Ginko is such a pimp!

At least we know Ginko will come visit sometime.

Did anyone else lol at the squirrels falling from the trees and plopping on the ground?
