typical kinda boring-ish aftermath episode. but it was kinda interesting to learn more about Ginga and Subaru. Hopefully the battles to come will be just as good as the ones before this.

Wasn't bad. Everyone needs to cool their heads and plot their next moves. A lot of good info was revealed like the Lt. General's involvement with Scaglietti and Lutecia's reason for fighting.

New intro, now in serious mode. The new intro threw me off in the beginning since the first ten seconds were dedicated to Subaru. It looks like a good prelude for what's to come.

...even a saint needs a soldier to do the dirty work.

Damn those cyborgs and scaglietti, I hate it when the enemies are too cruel, it's not like they have to scare the shit out of little children just because what they are doing is illegal. It's so stupid when the evil ones have no reason for doing evil things and are just made to do them to justify the good sides actions.
I really hate when the enemies have to be so cruel for no reason at all. Would they lose something from being a little more humane?

I kinda like the new OP.

Lt. General guy deserves a heart attack. ...^^;

And srsly, Vivio's screams at the end were blood-curdling. :( Just cruel, that damn doctor.

Yes me too and it is also quite unusual for the Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha series to give the enemies no reason but only being evil.

I really like this season of MSLN, but these enemies just piss me off way too much.

Call me a sap, but I love these kinds of 'recovery' episodes. Especially with all the tender moments at whatnot.

Yes, thank you for the extreme detail in the Nanoha x Fate scene near the end there. It was beautiful in a sad way. Also, VIVIOOOO!!

MSLN has a great message: that no matter what's your origin, you're still a human in heart. Regardless of whether you're a "child of God", or you were made in a lab, or even if you're a machine; you're still a human.

I love Subaru even more for this.

Did they just insinuate that vivio got that relic put in her womb?!

I agree. Of course, the best thing ever is when even the cruelest of the enemies has a justification for how they act, but I doubt there's any decent justification for terrorizing a little child.

I'm glad someone's got the intestinal fortitude to show villains actually doing villainous things. This isn't Disney nor a saturday morning cartoon, afterall. If the actions of the bad guys really get to you, the writers did their job well.
Never forget, that if you post a topic, you're not allowed to post in it yourself, by order of MAL administration.

Villainous things..they were actually portraited to try to not be overly villianly. Several cyborgs aswell as the doctor also mentioned that they don't want to shed unnecassary blood etc.

And terrorizing a child isn't exactly "villainous".

To top of it, the cyborgs are quite nice while not fighting, and Agito is just too cute, bringing Zest some medicine etc.

So from your perspective, the writers kinda failed?

Also, making people look evil is easy. Let them randomly murder someone, blow up a village, execute kids, whatever. Evil for the sake of being evil, as people complained here, is (usually) stupid. But let them do all the wrong things for all the right reasons, and make the heroes (if you even have such a thing) struggle to stay "clean" while still saving the world. If that is convincing and doesn't look outright stupid or cliche, then the writers did their job well.

Nice back story about the Nakajima family. Maybe Subaru's mom uncovered the truth about who's funding the cyborg facility. My guess would be the high council. Talking through monitors with voice changers? Can't be good.

Really? I wonder what you call that then.

Really hated the artwork in the last scene, aside from Vivio - I believe that is the most terror I've ever seen on an anime char's face. Quattro's expression, tho, looked like lowest-bidder work to me, and the insanity in Scaglietti's face went a bit over the top.

I don't really think they were intentionally terrifying Vivio, tho - they were just doing their thing, and that happened to be a side-effect of it.

...Well...at least not Scaglietti. He just seemed to be enjoying his SCIENCE!. Quattro, OtOH...her expression made me twitch. Need more data there.

Yeah...as much as I dislike Geiss, they're the ones I'm really worried about on that side of things; it's almost like Aleister Crowley in Index. I can totally sympathize with Geiss' "I refuse to be their puppet!" bit.

Are they seriously shipteasing NanoVita and SigFate in the OP now?!?!

Not entirely sure why Hayate is getting all pissy about that Lt. General when her own section was created with nepotism and backroom deals, and is literally filled with the products of that 'illegal research.'

Hm.. Lots of Subaru in new OP.. Looks like she'll become main or something.. At least that's what OP is telling.. But maybe she won't, just OP focused on her a lot, and that's all..
Hm.. This ground forces general payed to someone?.. Who?.. The same evil doc that attacked, or someone else?..
Artificial mages and cyborgs are natural allies, you say?.. Why is that?.. Well, besides same creator.. What are they seeking in the end, really?..
So that mage girl.. Is seeking her mother, to acquire heart?.. As she says.. Hm..
Pass the sign of Holy King to Vivio, so that she becomes some creation?.. Not sure, what is this about, but ok..

New opening theme! It's come quite late into the series but whatever.

We see the aftermath of the battle, so much damage, the only thing everyone can do is lick their wounds, no one was killed thankfully, you could see Nanoha's heart break the moment she saw Vivio's toy.

I'm glad Genya explained what his daughters are.

Hayate was doing a great job trying to expose Auris and her father working with Scaglietti, hopefully their crimes will be brought to light soon.

Quite sad seeing Lutecia like that, she wants to be human and be with her mother.

Teary scene with Nanoha & Fate, I was waiting for that.

Poor Vivio, they are using her as a test subject.
I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.
