Manga or anime series you think should be scanlated or fansubbed and WHY!!

I hope that eventually some group will take note of this club and help to translate the series.

I will staaaaart the ball rolling... Please also state where the series is scanlated or fansubbed until it was dropped (or seems to be).

Aiko Desho! (till 23)- People on mangafox were saying this is a good manga and should be continued.

Chicken Cutlet Princess (till 3)- People on mangafox praised it for being weird but good, and I personally find it interesting as well

[Heard it was licensed] Genkaku Picasso (till 4/19)- Interesting and psychological. About a guy who helps people in order to live, through drawing the picture of their hearts and going into the pictures to resolve their problems

Ichigo no Gakkou (till 2/5)- Heartwarming, about a teacher and student relationship which later got exposed and they had a baby too... imo better than Okusama wa Joshi Kousei.

Maid Shokun! (till 5)- About the workings of a maid cafe, the mechanics and complex human relationships present

-Aka-chan to boku
-Wagamama Fairy Mirmo de Pon
-Mama wa Shougaku yonensei

=>why?very good anime

Recently a lot of unsubbed anime were picked up:
-Mermaid Melody by Wasurenai
-Les Miserables by Wasurenai
-Kindaichi by KAW
-Daa Daa Daa by Frostii(I think this was already subbed though)
-Kakyuusei
-Captain Tsubasa by KAW(not sure though)

Ah I see... btw I realised that some fansubbers are re-fansubbing some old works... like if I'm not wrong one group was still fansubbing Kanon (2006) a few years after the eng subs came out.

Kinda sad that these energy were not put elsewhere... Ah... the shows you just mentioned I have never seen them @_@. Actually I'm more knowledgeable in unscanlated manga works so if you can pls guide me along the anime field @_@.

Cyborg 009 (the newest version) was never finished. They aired up to episode 48 in the US, but never showed episoddes 49-52. These episodes have never been subbed either. I found them only on Tudou (A site like youtube, only its all in japanese just for clarification.) This is a really nice old series and I wish it could be finished!

The group ~AA~ has only completed up to ep 25 of the series. Update on April 27 2010.

There are some italian dubs on New Cyborg 009 but i dunno which year it was produced in... and it only has 51 eps??. Ok I'll add it to the thread about subbed series which are not dropped (yet).

I'm still waiting for the last stardust wink chapters to be translated. I decided to finish it when it's done, since I'm getting out of the story each time if it takes months for a chapter to be translated. Especially now it finished publishing. I hope someone will get to it soon ;D
