| Just out of curiosity, which characters in Infinite Ryvius were your favorites? Least favorites? My personal favorites were Juli, Cullen, and Charlie. Least favorite (other than a few minor characters) was probably Brian. (I didn't like Faina, whom most people seem to hate, but I did find her interesting to watch...) |

Juli.. her character is well developed here and the irony of her situation is a plus charm.. you could make her the other main protagonist and the series would still be ok.. fun to watch.. Heigar.. OBERSTEIN mark II.. and yandere faina.. least fave.. Yuuki.. not so honest with his feelings, hates his brother for no reason, thinks he's very strong and is thus more worthy than everyone else.. is only thinking of how to beat Blue.. no wonder Kouji doesn't like him as a brother.. i wouldn't, too.. |
| It's honestly hard to choose because my opinions of the characters seemed to change so much throughout the show. I don't know about Yuuki, I really don't. I loved him in the beginning, but usually my reason for liking characters like that is that I know they will change eventually or will reveal their good side. (That's the whole point of the tsundere archetype, no?) And he did just the tinyist bit, but not really. I liked his relationship with Cullen though. And I also just liked her in general, she was one of the few girls that wasn't a wimp in this show. Then there was Ikumi, another character who I loved at the beginning an through most of the show. I loved the dynamic between he and Kouji for quite a while. But then he just went batshit NUTS. Or "went Eva" as I am inclined to think of it ;D I really don't think the whole incest thing was necessary, it just came across as too dramatic. But whatever. He got better again in the end, sort of. Airs Blue was another one who I kept changing my mind about. I hated him for a while, then liked him, and then he just sort of disappeared. I would have liked to see more of him and learn more. Juli was very cool. She was probably the only one who I liked the ENTIRE time. But honestly, she and Blue were supposed to hook up! Whyyyy why why why. /frustration Whatever, add that to the long list of unresolved anime "relationships". It's like people actually getting together is forbidden in these kinds of shows. Even Kouji and Aoi only kissed "by accident". |
| Yuuki took obnoxious brat to a whole new category which I would call borderline homicidal brat with brother issues. I Kouji was just your classic anime wimp who manages to develop in the course of the series. I liked that almost all characters were well developed (except Yuuki) and had their faults. No one was perfect, far from it. Cullen I suppose was the most stable in the entire show. Faina turned out to be absolutely crazy, but boy was she interesting to watch. |

| Most favorite: Blue as he's a natural-born leader and a wise intelligent person in general. That eye for putting right people in the right positions is nothing short of awesome (including people like Kouji and Juli capable of providing alternative outlook and criticism when he took leadership testifies to his wisdom, not every leader can do that as it takes a great deal of tolerance to criticism coupled with an analytical mind and somber independent outlook). Even if his personal agenda tripped him, he's still the guy you'd want at the helm if you had any brains. Out of those I didn't like, some girls deserve a mention, like those whore sisters for being quite disgusting in their pursuit of guys or Ikumi's girlfriend for being so utterly stupid and entitled. |
