| Hmm, you can definitely tell this anime is a few years old. Not a bad episode. Music was a little strange to me though. I wonder what kind of ending this is going to have, since the end date for this anime is before the end date for the manga. |
| A amazing anime and the first episode is a good start off to the rest of the series.. Not to much being showed or just slow like many other animes.. It does A great job opening up for the rest of the anime.. A incredible story of Love developing where it is unexpected.. |

| Probably one of the worse first episodes of something I've seen in a while. Really hope it gets better but have serious doubts that it will. I actually found myself asking, "wtf is this shit?" at one point. Also for something that's supposedly a comedy I didn't see a single funny thing in the entire episode. Pretty sad. As for Karin herself. No, just no. Cute doesn't make up for stupid and annoying. I was able to tolerate her here but she's the kind of character that a little goes a long way. Would be surprised if I don't end up totally hating her at one point. Have no idea what Usui's deal is but so far he seems pretty boring. My pet rock has more personality than him. |

| Not too impressed so far. The art style seemed kind of retro 1996'ish. It seemed like all the pieces were there, but the whole thing just felt flat. I dunno...something just seemed to be missing. It was ok, and I'll give it a few more episodes but I hope it improves quickly. |

| Those credits at the beginning were fucking obnoxious, thank god J.C. Staff hasn't done that in any of their other stuff, as far as I've seen. The artstyle and presentation are good so far, and the animation isn't bad. The music is so so, nothing really noteworthy, and the writing, while not very noteworthy either, is certainly better than other stuff I've watched that I'd consider bad. It might not be as bad as people say it is, although maybe I'll regret saying that eventually. |
