I've got the anti-Abrahamic aspect down. I definitely have moments of Misanthropy and I'm glad it's accepted as much as it is in the black metal culture. I am a Pagan Animist who spends a decent amount of time time on the occult and the Pagan spiritual. I'm also an existentialist who loves Romanticism and ancient Eurasian cultures. It's certain that black metal culture helped give rise to expressing my inner Northern feelings through Borealism. It would certainly be there without black metal and I am being myself. But Black Metal gave me a path to express and cultivate such an idea instead of repressing it. And if I were to form a black metal band, or a band of any sort, I would certainly put forth this ideology within. I think that I can say that although I'm not perfectly fitting into the black metal ideology, I'm on a path that is certainly more in line to it than against it. |
