Alright, I've been swamped with work and this is as much as I could figure out so far.
There will be a Coliseum for those who want them
Sparring and practice matches are allowed
Participants are allowed to design their own fightings area/arena
-> However, a character is required
This club will be linked to the main club for easy access

I agree with all information.
The actual settings should be determined individually for each battle / work out

I say create their own battlefields.
I dunno about a limit on health, b/c that would be hard to determine, but I do think there should be some sort of cap on weapons / spells.

Yeah that seems like a good idea ^^

Sounds good, the problem is the absence of the other side or so...
Plus wouldn't there be too many threads then?

Well, you could always make a rule where if you're going to leave for a period of time, you pm the officers to let them know you're leaving. But if the absence is unknown, then we'll hold another match, or something?

I dunno...
Smile, you look way better that way!! ^_^

Well, um. If we're making the battles in the Coliseum I'll inform you guys of a few things. There's aqueducts below the actual coliseum that spill into the stadium, creating a sort of water environment. The early Romans did that in the beginning to stage naval battles. However, overtime it became a bust so they stopped that. Also they had small elevators (if my memory serves me) to transport gladiators/lions into the stadium as well to battle. During hot days, the men who worked at the Coliseum would place a huge canvas sheet over the seating area to provide shade.

I don't really know if this is of any use, aside from the two battlegrounds I mentioned.

Yay! Lead-poisoned water is always good!

Man go beyond the battle area of the arena, You could step it up to have battle traversing up the aisles, in the hallways, hell, even on the top of the outer walls. That'd be pretty killer. And then of course you can battle in an area minus the arena.

That's why I included the part about the sheet covering the seating area. That way if the battles were to go out of the actual arena there could be the option of shade rather than baking in the sun lol.
