As we can see, she used to wear glasses when she was younger. The default explanation is that she now wears contacts, but contacts need to be removed at night and discarded or cleaned and stored before being reapplied in the morning. The logistics just don’t add up, and we’ve seen no evidence of this routine. In fact, there’s evidence to the contrary, as she passes out for three days every time she draws. If she were really wearing contacts, she would likely have developed an eye infection. So, the most logical conclusion is that she likely had laser eye surgery.

Thoughts?

hmmm ....the surgery can be a logical answer considering she is a mangaka from Japan, but I also think that the number is not very high of her eyes at her young age and I have seen many people whose eyes gets better without any surgery just my taking care of them every day properly if the number is not very high, well....it can be both.....

Her hair are working as glasses, which is why she covers her face like that.
How do I know that? I made it up.

Almost as said above, she can’t see out of hair forest anyway, what’s the point of glasses?

I use glasses, but it’s not like I can’t see without them.

It's possible she could have gotten laser eye surgery or she had hyperopia. After all, it seemed like her near sight was fine as in that particular memory she had to look a lot of into far distances, but in most of the other memories she had to look close or sort of. I could be wrong in that as it all comes down to what kind of sight she had. Did she have hyperopia or myopia? Or a mixture of those? What about all other things? Then there is also that possibility she didn't need glasses but wanted just to look smart. Or, the animators simply thought her having glasses would look cool/make her look smarter/older than she was at that point in life? It's really hard to write and I think it's something that the viewer can decide unless this little fact gets revealed otherwise in the show.

Eye surgery is a medical procedure aimed at improving vision or correcting various eye conditions. One specific type of eye surgery is for individuals with hooded eyes, where the excess skin folds over the eyelid, obstructing vision or creating a tired appearance. This surgery, often referred to as blepharoplasty, involves removing the excess skin and tightening the surrounding muscles to restore a more youthful and open appearance. Not only does it enhance the aesthetic look, but it can also improve peripheral vision for those affected by the hooded eyelids. Overall, eye surgery for hooded eyes combines both cosmetic and functional benefits. get more information about hooded eyes go to given link https://thehoodedeyes.com/
