| Somehow all of the episodes have been just breathtakingly beautiful. From opening to ending, everything is such a unique experience. XL's slap stole the show in this one (so satisfying I rewinded that like 6 times) |

| The pacing in this is so agonizingly slow...I've read the novel, but I don't remember the flashback with the long drawn out scene at the market place at all...feels like it was original content to pad this arc out. Actually skipped through it because I just did not care. The fact that they keep draaaaggginnnng out what really happened at the Golden Banquet is driving me nuts. I've still been enjoying this season overall I guess? idk but there's something about it that just isn't vibing with me, main thing is the super-slow pacing...but there's something else I don't really like about it that's hard to put into words....? I think it's because of how Hua Cheng and Xie Langs relationship is being adapted..something is just...off...idk |
