I absolutely love the animation style of Ranma 1/2 and was wondering if anyone had any anime recommendations with similar animation and art style? I really love the bright colors and how the fight scenes were done so I really want to watch more like it.

You can try the Urusei Yatsura remake. it is by the same author as Ranma. I have not watched it yet but I heard good things about it ...

only downside is that it's more of a compilation rather than a proper remake

For my part, I'm currently watching Inuyasha, same work as the author, but with different themes. The humor is still present though and I find this anime really interesting. I recommend it.

Urusei Yatsura is pretty much the same thing, but the main dude is a worse character, the Akane is a better character but she gets kicked to the side pretty fast by the Shampoo.

Oh, there is this one series no one remembers: Nyan Koi. Is a lot like Ranma in humor and wackyness.

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun has a tone a little like Ranma and a romance that doesn't move in service of the comedy, way more grounded tho.

In terms of animation style similar to Ranma 1/2, the obvious choice is Urusei Yatsura. Aside from that, Bakemonogatari series uses some similar bright colours from time to time.

Why you'll like it: From the same creator as Ranma 1/2 (Rumiko Takahashi), this remake features a blend of chaotic comedy and romantic hijinks with a quirky alien twist.

Maison Ikkoku

Why you'll like it: Another classic by Rumiko Takahashi, this series has a more grounded romantic comedy feel with lovable characters.

Fruits Basket (2019 Remake)

Inuyasha

Why you'll like it: Another Rumiko Takahashi classic, mixing romance, fantasy, and action, with a quirky and strong-willed heroine.

Kimagure Orange Road

Why you'll like it: A classic romantic comedy with a love triangle and supernatural twis

Tenchi Muyo!

Why you'll like it: Harem comedy with action and quirky characters

its not quite as cutesy art style wise due to its age and all but id agree that its got the same vibe to it. they use the arrows a lot in a similar way to ranma 1/2 use of lil speech bubbles to emphasise comedic points and all so yea i agree
