Having a strong feeling the story is going to turn dark at some point...

Although only 2 episodes there are already plenty of clues it's going to be a sad story... Hope I'm wrong:

In ED the main character, Luke Braveheart turns into black and white in the end.
Similarly in OP Luke turns into papers when Natsuko tries to catch him. Both indicate the inevitable separation of the two protagonists.
Natsuko loses consciousness after using her power, equivalent to the same amount of time she would need to finish the work in the real world. As the story goes her creations might get more complex, and she'll need to sleep longer until... maybe never wake up again?
After Mahou Shoujo Madoka, the light-hearted beginning of the story now looks increasingly suspicious...
Afterall, the original story of "A Tale of Perishing" also has a dark twist after the death of Luke's comrades. Although Natsuko has successfully stopped it so far, it's increasingly challenging venturing into the unknown.

Also, her wall of hair and how she gradually starts to reveal her face represents two main leads forging bond between eachother.
Pretty sure she will go bald by the end of the series.

I can see it eventually turning dark. Eventually, Natsuko might not be able to see what the future holds. She will change so much of what should happen that the enemy will change their tactics. At the moment, they will depend so much of her foresight that an assassin might slip in. The catalyst of her powers could be if Luke is in trouble.

I mean, this is their original anime, it's different from AOT or JJK, where they're shows that are meant to be dark because of their source material.

I hope there will really be some kind of twist.

I like the story so far and I will be disappointed if it turns out that the mc will just use her overpower to save everything and win every battle.

I also would be totally fine with the story being lighthearted and having a happy ending.

I think this show NEEDS to have a darker twist, because so far Natsuko was just using her overly OP skill to completely wipe out entire raids, and that will get boring really fast. There needs to be situations where Natsuko is powerless against the enemy and fails to save the day, or situations where Natsuko changed the original timeline so much that it deviates to a new darker timeline that she can't foresee and prepare for. I personally expect the latter, and I hope it unfolds soon because so far this show doesn't have a strong enough hook yet imo (aside from the visuals ig).

Also, since the base premise of this show is an artist/director overcoming artblock and regaining creativity, is it really creative for Natsuko to basically just waits for her tool to randomly light up and tells her to draw and then proceeds to draw the most outlandish overly OP monster/weapon that can easily one-shot everything? Well, I personally think it isn't.

Zenshu can have multiple meanings, including "complete works", "fix them all", or "redo everything"

so yes there will be bad dark times ahead then natsuko later will redo and fix everything to have a happy ending

The saddest prediction I will make is that this series will get a season 2, and mc will go into another world leaving this cast of characters behind; closure or not. That's my biggest problem with Kingdom Hearts and Uncharted and Genshin Impact

it's even more unlikely due to the fact that it's an anime original
