| Unfortunately, I’m fairly sure it won’t get one for many reasons. I think it was created solely to funnel more readers towards the manga, and boost sales. The low budget and anime ending reflect that imo. Also, the manga went on hiatus soon after the anime was announced, and there isn't enough material for another season. |

This fell into a similar situation with Vanitas, both doesn't have enough manga to make season 2 and both mangas are on hiatus

What I heard a long time ago was that like there is some kind of drama with the author and the studio that’s why the manga went on a hiatus you can maybe check previous post for more info
| @Ridwanbtw I heard that the contract the author signed with the magazine Afternoon didn't let her profit off the anime. I heard the name of the author isn't in the anime credits. I think the author might have sued the Afternoon magazine and Studio Deen for adapting her series without crediting her and without letting her share the profits. And that's why she stopped creating new chapters until the situation is resolved. I heard this situation is similar to Shirokuma Café, another anime adapted from a manga by a female author that didn't get credit the author and didn't share the profits with the author. |
