also I'm confused as to how you think Chrollo would know the gender of someone? that's not something you can detect with nen.

| @N0T3LI_ bro he's too smart, he basically figured out Kurapika's binding vow with a few info, he'd figure Kurapika in that distance "did not intend Chrollo escape" wrong, at that point Killua and Gon are still hostages, and even if Killua and Gon actually manages to escape during the blackout, that was still to early to reveal and remove the wig, meaning it's a misdirection |

Honestly, in that specific scene with Kuroro, Kurapika was probably referring to the fact that just because he looks like a woman doesn't necessarily make him a woman

He's clearly a male character simply because it's a shounen manga and the other three protagonists are also men, unless there really was some mystery behind it.(But I remember that in that special manga about Kurapika's childhood with his friend Pyro he really looked like a normal boy with nothing feminine behind it)

| @ReMightyRon I mean if Alluka and Kalluto looked like normal girls with nothing masculine behind it, why's that impossible for a young Kurapika in the opposite scenario also the thing with the genre is it's about the main main protagonist which is Gon, so even if there's 2 female in the 4 main it's still a shounen as long as the main protag is male, there's plenty of shounen where there are female protagonist (not the main protag) along with the males and yes as long as togashi don't confirm it himself, I mean look at Pitou, he literally refuses to confirm Pitou's gender, so with Kurapika no one really bothered questioning it because we all just assumed he's male because it's a shounen |

| It's a funny discussion but it's interesting There are some things I can consider that create doubts: * His name. (i don't know but i think it's a girl's name) * The voice artist is a female and the character design looks female type. In the end, he is not a female. |
