why is that, that the only anime out of the many that came out in the 2000's (and that one came out in 1989) who have real HD release is dragon ball Z

why naruto who came much after dosent have HD release? is anyone love watching in 480p quality? i know i cant, this is part of the reason why i wont watch anime before the 2010's, because they are all in bad quality.

from what i've read on shippuden have hd release and only after episode 54? something like that

480p in anime is very different then 480p in a live action movie

480p AKA "SD" is bad quality overall. no matter what it is, but in anime it gives the show a misrable atmosphere that i cant describe.

its like watching something in black and white, that bad.

if anyone know where i can get a 1080p release plz tell me

What are you talking about? The set is set to release on 7 February was announced a while ago. As for why it's that long ask Viz Media it's them who got the franchise I am pretty sure their FAQ would help you with that.

Here the link for the Blu Ray set

it's depends on the producers if they wants to do
it's also like a another anime production they will enhance each frame by editing every thing, even music quality and voice over quality.

if u want to watch high quality search in some Ts, Fan made ones it could available in only 560p thts all .

Oh so you are interested in watching naruto after all.

Idk if country matters, but Naruto is actually in HD. If you go on Youtube, there are two versions you can buy, SD and HD. YouTube also used to have the eng subbed version in HD for free but not anymore. I've seen it and it's like 720p. So you don't have to watch it in 480p. Look around in all the streaming sites and you will find that higher quality is available. If you ask google the AI answer is just straight up wrong.

Ive checked multiple streaming sites besides Youtube like Hulu, AppleTV, and they all claim to have it in HD not SD. So unless they're all lying, you are not stuck with the 480p version.

Kind of unrelated, but i really hate the "Naruto Kai" or "Naruto HD" aesthetic that uses bright colors and these cartoony almost copypasted faces for every character.

The original part 1 animation is so much more expressive with a uniquely muddy, dirty, rundown aesthetic fitting of the story's themes, and every character actually has a unique face that doesn't look like it came out of a factory. The only advantage of the other style is that it looks better in screenshots bc all the linework is cleaner and everyone is always on model. But youre not supposed to pause animation.

@riqmoran exactly couldn't have said it better .
those bright color look great in screenshots and wallpaper but I just don't find them comfortable I found same with Bleach I really loved old art style more they all had unique faces news ones very bright ...I think older art style resonates with manga better too!
