Kawashita was definitely a tricky opponent, but when the Yozakura family unites no amount of tricks can bring them down! It's hard to visualize how his plan would have made anyone happy in the end. It's not like Tsubomi could enjoy it, since apparently she's literally the family tree now. The majority of the population getting wiped out too is a big no no.

With Kawashita arrested, that only leaves Momo Yozakura's as the only loose end of the season. He's satisfied taking Rei Yozakura's heart and disappearing for now. What a romantic guy.

The second half of the episode being a marriage ceremony between Taiyo and Mutsumi felt very fitting for the season finale. This show has received an excellent english dub, and did a great job endearing me to its cast. I'm glad its getting a second season!

That’s the end of Tanpopo… for now. It seems that Tsubomi and Makoto may have other seeds planted that will show up later, assuming there will be another season (I did hear that there will be another season of Mission: Yozakura Family, but I’ll be more confident of that once I see a trailer).

I’m surprised that Mutsumi figured out Kyoichiro and Taiyo’s plans to recover Rei’s body, and I didn’t expect a fight between Momo and Ban. I still don’t get Momo’s motives and what he actually wants to do…

Taiyo has a point about the wedding reception. Yozakura family, GET SOME DIFFERENT TRADITIONS! You’re telling me that those random underworld dudes are ready to shoot at the couple knowing they will be getting their cheeks clapped during the process?!

Besides that, the ending here was beautiful and I love how everyone contributed to Taiyo’s attack that allowed him to cut off Makoto’s ability to hold the Hazakura. I was just as shocked as Taiyo that there was an immediate wedding reception following Mission: The Yozakura Frontlines. Damn!

Well may Taiyo and Mutsumi live happily ever after.

Finished this anime after leaving it on hold for months. The subbed episodes on Disney+ have been delayed and I had no idea why, hence I didn't get to follow this anime weekly when it was still airing. Finished watching this and how appropriate that this became the last anime that I've completed for 2024!

I enjoyed it a lot when this anime had an even more serious plot in the 2nd cour. Taiyou has definitely experienced a lot of growth being a member of the Yozakura Family. All the Yozakura Family members are likable, even Kyouichirou who was super annoying during the first episodes of this anime. Yeah, he was a cool big bro but he will always hate the fact that Taiyou is now Mutsumi's husband, lol.

Their infiltration mission in Skeleton Island has been a success and I wasn't expecting that Kawashita guy to be someone who's been alive for around a century. He was hiding the true extent of his abilities all along and he was certainly the final boss on Skeleton Island. His "Seed-sowing Project", I can't think of it as a massive plan that will bring joy and happiness in the country & the future because of all the sacrifices they've made, most specially with the abduction & human experiments. Scattering all the Hazakura into the ocean will just create an apocalyptic scenario. I dunno but it sounds like revenge for all the injustice in this world.

Good series. It's been fun. I'm fine with the announced sequel but, holy wow, it will be coming out in 2026? Wasn't expecting such a long wait! Well, ok then, I just hope they could improve the quality of the episodes even further. 8/10 from me. Good show! Futaba-neesama, best girl. xD
