Which way would you have had Tokyo Blade represented. In the anime it's shown as a stage play whereas in the live-action it's shown as a TV drama. Which is the best medium to have had it being shown in the anime. Would it have been better for the anime to show it as a stage play or a TV drama?

I personally like both a lot.

The 2.5D stage play is obviously better. There’s a whole subplot about adapting a story to different media, which includes discarding preconceptions about what a 2.5d play can do. The live action only turned it into a tv drama because they lacked the time and (more importantly) budget to show it as a stage play.

I prefer the 2.5D stage play approach. Especially considering it brings everyone into an entirely different medium for their exploration into the entertainment industry, & 2.5D is an experience not many people are aware of outside of Japan. The new experience, especially how it's portrayed in the anime, makes it even more exciting. I hope they release video of the 2.5D stage play overseas, like they did with "Demon Slayer" one of these days.

Stage play has higher stakes, so that.

It did get a live action, the discussion is about how the live-action show in-universe (Tokyo Blade) is a play in the Oshi no Ko anime and is a TV drama in the Oshi no Ko live-action.
