It took forever to get into Jojo it came when id just started getting into anime and it took me years for me to like the artstyle, I don't know why but I didn't like it growing up, now that only older I love it, anyway part 2 was always my favorite but it always felt too short

I only remember a short scene with Joseph and Ceasar at a post office that was cut from the anime.

There are a few short scenes in the manga that were omitted in the anime adaptation. The longest is a scene with Joseph and Caesar at the post office. But on the other hand, the manga doesn't have some small additions that you can see in the anime.

Part 2 is cool in either form, but I recommend checking out both the source material and its anime adaptation for the fullest experience.

If you want, @mydaddy, you can watch a video made by Hamon Beat (I recommend this channel if you are a JoJo fan) that sums up differences between the both versions (manga and anime) of Part 2:

There were a few comedy scenes I was hoping for them to adapt and they didn't. Like Joseph drinking the same water as a horse when he arrives on Mexico, and he drawing on the face of a burglar with a mustard bottle lmao. For these alone, I'd say the manga is more worth it.

yeah anime cuts out most of the gore, the panels don't pop and the entire Nazi side of the story as well as the vulgar and crude language and comedy is cencored and heavily diluted

part 1 and part 2 are ok adaptations at best

but part 1 gets the worst of the stick with MANY parts being cutout resulting in the part feeling like it's jumping everyware every ep

part 3 and beyond the anime Is really good manga ato anime wise but your always have the language and gore toned down
