Ugh, I just can't stand some of the nobles in this show.

On the other hand, it's somewhat more refreshing not to always see Rio and her friends doing the same thing every episode. Rio didn't back down of course despite his status. Kinda wish they made more characters likable outside of Rio's friends.

The quality for the animation for this series is a bit low, It's barely visible unless you're focused, but we can mostly ignore it and just enjoy the series as it is.

I actually enjoyed this series as I get to see more of Celia's cuteness towards Rio/Haruto, and the "pink haired girl" just chomps in the food without a care in the world, which was rather cute.

I also get to enjoy the presence of Princess Liselotte and Princess Flora for this episode. OwO

P.S. Annoying mob characters here and there can just be ignored altogether. lmao

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Its Moe Monday, with the Spirit Chronicles, get may full quota, and more, of cuteness for the week. Although the same age group Aria "The reaping princess" Gavaness stand out with a bit more mature sexy appearance.
My memory is good enough that I do not need periodic reminders of what worthless sh!t Stewart and Alphonse are.

So, redhead warrior at the end: is Lucius "Stubborn Donkey, That rotten man" Orgueille? Is antogonist, antihero, good, evil, lawful neutral?

It is a lot harder to follow the story this time around, but I am enjoying it so far.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

I feel like this season is not going anywhere. The first season was better. Rio planning a fight and helping Celia Claire is not interesting anymore, they should get to the real deal.

Maybe this season hasn’t achieved its peak moment yet.

Yeah honestly came here to say that. The first season had me sucked in every single episode. This whole season just feels like one big wasted filler episode.

The main character is a total loser, his women are humiliated, he is humiliated, his countrymen humiliate him, but he doesn't give up, and in the end he becomes the duke's dog.

This is what I like to see!
Haruto shitting on those two shitheads was the best of the 1st season.

The blonde one is the brother of Latifa, right? The one that had her as a slave... fucking kill him.
Sorry if my english is bad (っ˘▽˘)っ~~~

So two random nobles had the audacity to try and take Haruto’s room, and even after Haruto gave it to them, they still try to start stuff by harassing Celia and Aisha.

I will say that the preview thing in the openings spoiled how this interaction would go because we saw that the two would try to fight Haruto, so they really need to be careful with that, or just not do it at all.

It seems the random redhead from the previous episode is about to cause some havoc. Also, Haruto is closer to finding the friends that Miharu mentioned at the beginning of the season, so there’s progress being made.

Stewart & Alphonse haven't changed at all since the 1st season.
It was so awesome seeing Rio putting them in their place.
Then the had to grovel, that was so satisfying.
Gustave seems to be a pretty decent person.
I wonder if Rio will bring Mahiru and the others along now that he has heard about the other heroes.
Lucius is making his move to kidnap Flora.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

Alphonse is such a fucking weirdo man. Starting a fight all because Haruto showed his dumbass up. I hate the annoying noble trope so much. He and his lil lap dog got exactly what they deserved lmao. Did all that barking to Haruto and ended up getting on their knees like dogs to apologise lmaoo 😂 lucky they didn’t get disowned.

Other than that, another really slow kinda yap fest episode. Next week looks like we’ll get some action though!

Alright Haruto mission to take Liselotte invitation seems to progress really well done fast even though the path toward it kinda irritating so much with the disturbance from those two noble kiddo. But whatever the case with them as i am sure more curious about 'another' Beltrum Hero since this episode randomly tease about his name! Perhaps its from Christina relic summon or whatever? And why both have made no contact to reveal more story of that? Idk why but i don't like the decision to direct it like that, too much random id say....

Oh well whatever, one episode done, another waiting i need to do before the banquet.

I knew Alphonse and Stewart would still be classist jerks, but with all the time that passed, I thought they'd at least stop being so stupid as to stir up this kind of trouble. It was incredibly satisfying to see Haruto give them a well-deserved beatdown and the duke deliver their punishment. And it’ll be even sweeter when Lucius steps in to either knock them down a peg or finish them off. Never thought I'd say this, but it was great to see Lucius again.

Finally, Haruto has found information about the other heroes—things are getting even more interesting now!

Name of pink-haired girl is Aishia, she will become one of the most important characters in the later parts of the story.
I don't remember Aishia being that adorable in the LN, she is a kuudere in the LN~

Now my thoughts on the episode, they did not rush the story but the anime skipped some content in the explanation.

The LN reminds the readers who the characters are:
Stewart and Alphonse are the boys who pushed Flora off the cliff during the academy days and the blamed it on Rio. Christina and Flora were trying to defend Rio but they cannot because Rio is a 'commoner'.
Their father, duke Huguenot, is the dude that placed a bounty on Rio and sent Latifa after him.

Now to the skipped content on the characters' thoughts during their conversation.

Just for laughs, Rio save Flora counter:

Aishia chomping down food without a care is so cute. Best girl and best part of the show.

This was by far the best episode this season (isn't a high bar tbh). Atleast these two jerks got what they deserve finally. This was due for over 5 years, all the humiliation accusation Rio faced to finally see them grovel at his feet is very very satisfying.

Hiroaki despite even useless showed those two clowns his place and even his father were considering to ditch him in favour of the same guy who he drove out of the kingdom. Again so satisfying.

This red haired dude who killed Rio's mother also is here maybe this season is finally getting better. MAYBE.

@NewestPersonHere what is the current Volume this is adapting. Is there any chance to see Aishia part getting animated in a very unlikely scenario of this getting S3?

Currently adapting volume 7.

Based on current pacing, season will end at volume 8.
Here are the arcs:
Volume 6-8: Amande arc. Main Heroines are Flora and Liselotte.
Volume 9-10: Galarc Ball arc. Main heroines are Satsuki and Miharu.
Volume 11-13. Escorting Christina arc. Main heroines are Celia and Christina.
Volume 14-15. Lucius arc. Main heroines are Christina and Flora.
Volume 16. More SoL.
Volume 17-20. Saint Erika arc. Main heroines are Aishia, Liselotte and Aria.
Volume 21 onwards: Transcendent arc. Main heroines are Sora, Aishia, Miharu and Celia.

Aishia will become a very important charater in volume 20. So probably season 5?

While I pretty much skipped the LN when watching season 1 and found it pretty forgettable, I really got into it with season 2. So while the story is super compacted and the timeline is a bit all over the place, I'm really happy that the second season happend, otherwise I would not have gotten into it.

Right now, I'm in the middle of re-reading the entire thing, as I found so much joy in it. From what I peaked from the Japanese summary, Vol. 26 will be a SoL type of thing? I have no idea where the storry goes by the way, as everyone outside of Galtuuk stil has

I have not read volume 26. I have only seen the coloured illustrations from Bookwalker and HJ Bunko. Most likely SoL volume like volume 16. If it is drama, the cover will be Christina instead of Latifa~
