| There is 100% a shift in quality. VAs do a good job at keeping it palatable. But EP1-7 are clearly different from 8 onwards. Storytelling, directing/camera angles etc. all changed. Regarding the character style, as "janky" as it might be, it is mostly consistent within the "episode-blocks" i mentioned. Just kiriyama alone switches his character 180% degrees in the last 3-4 episodes, while he was the same for 1-7. Here a small comp, as neutral as one might get it, as 95% of the show is mostly "humorously overdrawn" faces.. (and again, hard switch somewhere along 7-8, like the haircolor of kiriyama etc.)  currently the only thing i think is getting better is the Hirai x Yayoi part. |
