@bushman66 they’re probably setting up a future villain with that mysterious figure…

Pacing was a bit off, it felt like some scenes were cut off and the romantic pairing came out of nowhere. If the writer was more fleshed out, we could actually believe in him falling for her and making the decision he made. We were only told and not shown episode being short and all…

Overall I like the tone and themes explored in the series and I am also curious what the deal is with Mister.

I certainly hope so, but if they go with a season 2 I wouldn’t be too mad.
I was just getting started with Fairies Albums before coming across this series. Thanks for the recommendation though, I appreciate it.
I found the vibes of the two eerily similar, I love it! It seems to me, Fairies Albums does high stakes better, endings there seems to be more tragic. Ya She mixes modern and historical settings, and that’s one of the reasons why I enjoy this series greatly.
