Character Development for Shirota and Takamine?

60+ chapters and still no development for Shirota and Takamine. I highly doubt he will get one but i really want him to. He's bland and his whole character is the sake of the audience self inserting and enjoying the ecchi. He's still the same as he was getting tossed around by Takamine who at this point just feels like she's trying to break every resolve he has and especially what she said in a specific chapter. She literally said "She'd rather spend time with someone she values more and get this Shirota was literally in the same place as her when she said that. Kinda makes it feel like she doesn't value him and only sees him as closet and a servant.

I don't know if Takamine is a tsundere and she really doesn't feel like it. She's just straight up, toxic, narcissist and manipulative. I won't be surprised if Shirota forgives Takamine for what happened in the first chapter and onwards because he's totally likes her. And Takamine won't face any issue or consequences because she's attractive and pretty which i won't deny. And i'm pretty sure Shirota has developed some M kink because he likes the way Takamine treats her.

This is my opinion. All opinions are welcome and I am not trying to start a fight or something. This is the conlcusion i have come to after reading up to the latest chapter.

He has some character development at the beginning of the manga but I wondered why the author threw all of that and regressed him back to a bland mc. As for Takamine, I just eat the ecchi scenes she gives us cause man, I really am tired of this whole thing between them as I am patiently waiting for Shirota to confess.

@CheliosX I never saw any character development for Shirota in the beginning of the manga maybe i missed it. I just want Takamine to drop this whole bs and come out clean.

Oh, by character development I mean the part where he decided to confess or sumn but it's been out on hold I think. Meanwhile, Takamine is just being annoying and haughty. So annoying ngl. I like the ecchi but I don't like her character even though she has her cute moments.

@CheliosX Tbh Even if she tries to act cute, it really doesn't work well. And yeah i remember the part where he was going to confess but never happened.
