| Science SARU understood the assignment and gave us an incredible adaptation so far. I don't think that many studios if any could've elevated Tatsu's work to this extent. Chapter 16 was sad, but seeing it animated had me in tears. I cannot even begin to imagine how great the future arcs will be once animated. |

| This episode is a masterpiece. Before this episode, I feel like all Dandadan has it going is awesome animation and naughty reference. Plot was pretty meh prior to that. But this episode completely change my mind. The author / studio use ONE EPISODE to achieve what normal Shonen Jump took 50~100 chapters to achieve and execute BETTER even. Amazing character building on top of some of the best production/ direction/ animation/ flow. Man, now i can't get off this ship anymore. Last time I have this feel is probably Saranzenmai's ep 8/9. They give kinda similar vibes. (The last ep is kinda meh though, sadly) Honestly if the author can have story telling this good, maybe he can drop some of the sexual innuendo and focus more on the story. It's hard to recommend this anime to people I know irl because they might drop the anime and think I'm weird / perverted after watching the first episode . |

| @KneelBeforeMe Yeah, i've seen similar plot in a lot of other anime, but very few studio can execute as good as this one. Man, now I wish Karakuri Circus get this type of adaptation. The manga has parts that literally make me cry in tears, but the adaptation of that series is total crap so I dropped it early. |

| @IFinallyMadeAMAL Yeah this anime would have been rated better without all the intentional sexual innuendo/ jokes from all the previous part. It's hard to ask my friend/ family to watch this knowing it has a pretty NSFW first episode. They'd just drop it after 1st ep and call me a pervert. |
| Simply put, my best anime episode of the year. Objectively the most powerful piece of anime TV in 2024. I haven't cried that hard watching an anime episode since Heavenly Delusion #08. |

| the scene how they portrayed it, like she had her own dreams to be a ballet dancer she secrefice her dream, she sacrificed her body, her mind everything, goddamn everything for her child but ultimately she got separated from a child after watching the scene I don't know how much I cried after the scene... yeah some people might call me cry baby but just think about it in reality it happens every now and then but we can't do anything about it, It's so fucking saddd man |
