| Loved the ED and the storyboarding for this one. Misao's past memories and the art direction with Kaoru is beautiful. I feel like it was also a subtle nod to the OG series. The fireflies that were present in the OG series during Kenshin and Kaoru's goodbye and them leaving with him back then and now in this ED we see Kaoru watching them (or they are lights?) and by the end they return with Kenshin feels like a beautiful tie up. I did quite missed them last season. Overall, catchy song and a really good ED fitting for the characters. |
