I only watched this show because of the superiority complex meme frame and stayed for the brilliant anime
but yeah considering how often I saw that meme a while ago its surprising how unknown this show is
| @CreativeN025 "Unknown"? It's actually scoring pretty high on MAL's popularity charts. It's just more so these days it isn't talked about much or "actively popular" I suppose. Let's be real having shows like AOT, OPM, Naruto, SAO and others become wildly popular and still continue to be "popular" after they've ended is actually quite a rarity. I suppose with this one maybe people watched it, liked it, talked about it for a bit and then moved on and that's totally fair. So I suppose most people just simply overlooked this and that's that. |
| I really liked this one so it's sad to accept but it's fact that it's quite unlikely to ever get another season, especially due to the novels uncertain situation the past many years. I think the episode 12 ending actually would've been a great spot to leave off on for another season too. Especially as episode 13 and 14 (it's listed separate for some reason) take place after it but don't do much for the plot outside maybe MC's birthday so they end up feeling like a "after ending extra" bit of content which is fine I suppose. I personally didn't even really get into watching anime till 2018/2019 as before then I certainly knew about it and watched one or two anime here or there. Except I didn't really try and find and watch lots of good anime as I just simply wasn't too interested. Nowadays though I'm going out of my way to use MAL and find things I really like and watch them. Even at times intentionally watching "bad" anime to keep me realizing just how good some things are. In the end I basically took a look at this quite a while ago thinking "This might be interesting I'll give it a shot" and got more than I expected. Happy anniversary Amagi Brilliant Park, you were somewhat simple but a fun, joyful watch and I had a great time with those 14 episodes. |
