Even the actual clips from the match don't look that good, Average at best (Not hating but just stating). We all thought they were saving the best for the match but seems like this match will be the same with maybe the hype moments animated better lol.

I hope I'm wrong like everyone and they actually have some stellar animation and this was all a ploy to make people buy the manga (I can't believe how ridiculous I sound) 😂 I guess if their goal was to increase manga sales, They succeeded lmao.

well firstly his scenes are just spoilers for this upcoming episode, but also it seems the production staff just doesn't like him. He's way more relevant than Barou this season yet Barou has more time in the OP, and they've cut a bunch of Shidou's scenes already (probably will cut more and censor him a lot)

People are acting like the animation is unwatchable. Like we get it, the animation is a downgrade from season 1. how many times are people going to mention it? If it's that bothersome to you, why are you still watching the anime?

Exactly my point, They purposely never showed actual footage from the match because I'm sure if they showed this trailer as the first one, People would have flamed them lol.

People saying I'm being hasty and calling me a hater, I would love to be proven wrong. I hope Iam but like you said, These are actual clips of the match which seem better than we got for the past few episodes for sure but still not a desirable quality by fans of the manga.

If you read the manga you will know that Shindou is going to join the other team the team of Sae Itoshi this is what I understood from the manga.

Btw this part of manga makes me laugh too cuz do you know, these U20 guys who look like they're in their 30s/40s, are actually all just 20-year-old lolz
I mean sure, some author draw 20-year-old dudes way older than they should, but cmon, when Isagi's group clearly look like a bunch of young and normal 16~18 teenagers, you cant tell me when they reach their 20s they're going to look like THAT...(old and goofy)

This is incredibly disappointing, I'm quite a new fan to Blue lock who only watched the first season this summer and was excited to see the continuation. I saw the OP for this season and thought the animation looked great, so I held on hope for the U-20 match but it seems it won't be animated to the level I had thought. It really sucks, I may need to take my leave and hit the manga instead

@Kaze1214 well sorry for not wanting to judge an anime just from these short ass scenes where they are trying to introduce the characters. I’m not dumb to think u20 is gonna look anywhere near how we want it. I don’t think 8bit can animate sports anime. But from how i blk, As long as it has more movement, i’m good. And so with this teaser, it doesn’t tell me much. And even the short scenes don’t look as offensive as ep 2

they put the best clips in the trailer so people would be more appealed to watch it and considering that the clips in the trailer are actually somehow even worse than the past couple of episodes , makes me upset. they should’ve put way more effort into the u20s rather than the past couple of episodes. granted it was one guy working on the past couple of episodes i don’t blame him, i blame the studio for not caring enough for this season

@Royalty459 except it isn't even animation. it's literally png images running in the background. the problem isn't bad animation. the problem is that THERE IS NO AMIMATION. it's not a downgrade from the 1st season. it's a complete joke.
