I wish I could care about Sieg more but he has a blend personality.

Episode felt kinda everywhere with the cast. Laust felt like an afterthought this time. Weakest episode of this show so far imo. They need to build the cast better.

To say the very least! I really have no idea why I'm still watching this at this point...The ENTIRE SHOW has just felt bland to me. Ah well, I'm bored...so why not. 😅

Was kinda looking forward to the MC showing off but all we got is glowing eyes/horn and a random instant kill that got a slight surprised reaction like it was almost normal…

"I am the bone of my sword,
Steel is my body and Fire is my blood,
I have created over a thousand blades,
Unknown to Death,
Nor known to Life,
Have withstood pain to create many weapons,
Yet, those hands will never hold anything,
So as I pray, unlimited blade works"

Fuck, Laust is an idiot who deserves to be taken advantage of. Dropped.
No tomo malas decisiones, solo me gusta apoyar causas perdidas.
Disfruté Mayoiga, Ou-sama Game, Evil or Live, Mirai Nikki, Big Order, Arifureta, Ex-Arm, Tesla Note, Shuumatsu no Harem y Platinum End
nope les falle con esa, lo siento pero todos tenemos nuestros límites.
Así de jodido es mi gusto en anime, ¡Y estoy pinche orgulloso de ello!

Episode feels a bit anticlimatic, in all honesty. And maybe those two should have gotten busted for attempted human trafficking. Funny, to even have laws like that in a Fantasy World seems a bit weird. But refreshing too.

I laughed when Laust said that hydra wants to solo fight him, 3 seconds flashback, and he fell on the ground. It looked like he said that shit and strength suddenly left his body. I thought my player bugged and skipped Laust's fight with Hydra, turns out it's edited this way.
It would be even more hilarious if he pissed himself after that :D

True that, whoever wrote this shit probably never met an actual human in his life. I don't know why material like this even gets an adaptation.

The “let the bad guys go” schtick is soooo annoying. Enjoying this so far, but I think letting two powerful scammers who wanted to sell their unconscious teammate to some perverts for profit was a little.. much.

So many interesting things happening at the moment.
Whatever transformation Laust went through.
Also Sieg investigating the town.
Too bad Laust is such a nice guy, Margulus & Siberia are scum.
Thankfully Armia has a party that will be good to her from now on.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

That ending was bad. Letting literal slavers off with a warning is idiotic, not to mention the almost constant fraud they appear to commit against their own party members.

Laust is a moron and the story is bad for trying to pass it off as him being a good person. At least Guild Girl gets it.

I don't know why many hate MC - he is naive but not irritating. There are dozens of more annoying MCs in any anime season.
This show is not flashy but it reminds me good old animes with no isekai and more traditional art style.
I think direction could be better since some episodes do feel anticlimactic.
But I still like it.

Idk who in their right mind thought “yeah I know they legitimately wanted to human traffic a girl to some weird noble and wanted to short the pay for everyone but us, but he did a oopsie give him another chance” like hello. Idk if it’s just me but I really do hate how a lot of fantasy animes now have MC that get absolutely abused but end up being yeah that guy wasn’t so bad. I feel it’s just really poor writing

A lot of people hate the MC because he literally let two people go, who since day one been defrauding him of his pay, forcing him to sleep in a closet, made fun of him I front of everyone and then tried to convince him that selling one of his companions who was UNCONSCIOUS to slavery. I’m sorry you can’t say he is an actual good person he is just idiotic and an idealistic. Yes there are many annoying MC this season and many others but this MC feels like who would have forgiven people who burned a whole village alive saying that they deserved a second chance

Generic.
Idiotic.
waste of my time.

Lets say that the MC had some friends and those friends betrayed him in the most generic way possible and then he made a new friend... but then those friends that betrayed him tried to do something horrible to his new friend but when someone was about to trow them in the jail then he decided to give them a chance because he is such a great guy!

waste of time...

Not sure if there’s a novel that they’re following however the manga is very different. They’ve seem to have town down the violence a bit and made the MC a fool. This oni stuff wasn’t in there either. Kind of disappointing as the manga was generic yes but at least somewhat enjoyable.

That was disappointing. Girl with no agency wasn't really punished for her inaction, two abusers got off with the lightest of possible punishments at the behest of the one they abused, and who still refused to be decent humans even after "accepting" him.

That's not a very rewarding story. hope they do better

How interesting. I've been reading the manga and have had a vague feeling that things have been going differently here in the anime than it did in the manga, but when that strange oni-like aura scene happened I knew for sure that something was off.

So, I went back to the beginning of the manga and skimmed through the first 8 or so chapters, it was definitely different in actually quite a few ways. I suspected that the anime was likely following an LN and vaguely thought that I remembered reading somewhere awhile ago that the manga was based on an LN, as such I visited the anime's MAL page and sure enough there is an LN.

I'm assuming that the differences thus far are more so between the LN and manga rather than between the manga and anime. If so, I'm quite surprised how different the Manga is to the LN. I'll have to check around and see if I can't find the first volume of the LN so that I can compare the three.

The starkest difference in my eyes is the oni-like aura, I wonder where that will go... perhaps though it is more of a difference in presentation rather than what is actually happening, i.e. the explanation will be the same but it was a difference in how the mediums portrayed the events... though it seems so different that I have a hard time believing that that is what is actually going on currently and more so believe it is a difference between the LN and manga. If the latter is correct then I have to wonder why they changed it so much...

That's a hella lot of words to say so little. Prioritize quality over quantity to get to the point next time.
"Manga readers are annoying, all they do is complain or spoil the anime we discuss in an anime forum.
They should really do their whining at manga forums.

@jasohn

Best just ignoring people like this.

There's always at least one in every forum -- so arrogant they think they are smarter and "better" than others.

And this one is so full of self-importance, even lists the users they ignore. Hahahaha.

Turns out, while they think they're so "smart", most of the rest of us just think they're a-holes. :)

Episode was a strange one.

But, still enjoying it enough to stick with it.

The girls are cute, the art style and animation are decent, and it looks like there's a bit of a mystery to Raust.

Man, this series is getting better and better.
The anime is not that dark when compared to the manga, thankfully. The way they joked about selling Armia was darker in the manga, and it's traumatic reading it. lol 😭

@Kamapuaa but the source for this anime is the LN. lol 😅
I think the anime is better than the manga, but the manga also has some better parts that I'd like to see in the anime. So far, I'm enjoying it.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Last ep I said Margulus seem incompetent, but in this episode, we found out not only that, he's evil as well. Wow

Also, we found out how MC is the "strongest", but it was pretty underwhelming to say the least.

What a terrible episode! Finally this 4th episode made me drop this ridiculous anime.

Nothing about it makes any sense, from the title's premise (he is no healer. Someone who cooks is not a chef), through to this unrealistically pathetic return and forgiveness arc for multiple actions against the OP and now even worse for actions against a not so innocent third party, to now an official who can somehow be appeased by a random adventurer - despite the threat and apparently evidence of serious crimes - who has zero connection to him, authorities, social hierarchy, or any other plausible reason ...

Rated: 3/10 [gun to head required to watch (or only watch with friends)]

The most interesting part of this episode was how healing magic is less effective on mage's due to their indiscriminate magic resistance. At least it was somewhat unique.

But this case of letting the bad guys go has to be one of the worst. Usually these type of characters have reasons/pressure to do crimes, but those 2 were doing it so blatantly just for the extra cash. And considering how they openly admit to their previous misconduct, but still continue to do the same is a clear indication that they dgaf. Especially considering how idiotic the golden armor guy is portrayed, he is 100% going to do whatever he wants in the next town. At least keep them under watch if you want to give them a chance at redemption.
