But thats his older stuff, wtf happened to him if we check his recent works everything is atrocious (Conception, Kingdom of Ruins). Plus the studio is dogsht too and the trailer looks 6/10 at best.

He only did the Storyboards for Legends of the Galactic heroes but personally I think the director is washed judging him by his recent works which are quite terrible

Actually he was the director of Katanagatari, Legend of Galatic heroes was only one of the 32 episode directors, he was the director of Jormungand both seasons, everything else was some small things or small roles in the production. Of these three, I've only watched Katanagatari and I don't think it's badly directed, but that series is unique in many aspects, it has a less complicated story and there's a lot more action than TBATE, or at least that's how I remember it since I watched it a long time ago.

It's nice how everyone is concerned (including me) about this adaptation, the problem is that it would take a demon slayer production to bring this good, otherwise lmao it would be disappointing anyway
