I've tried to watch this both daily and binge for some I just stop after episode 4 and just forget everything that happens and I restarted some other time I seen it 3 times whin a year and every time I just can't remember anything

Edit I never said they were boring, if it was I would have never given it a second thought but I'm now on episode 5. Btw this show is so gorgeous 🤩

The anime is not that simple. I can totally relate because it happened to me twice. Pausing for too long in between when you're binging it may cause some regret later, lol.

lmaooo i too dropped it at ep 4, years later (yesterday) i watched ep 5 on a whim and binged the rest. riveting asf, phos undergoes uhh life-changing experiences, to say the least. Imma read the manga someday

Instead of liking, I would use the word uninterested, but maybe that's not it either. If someone doesn't like the first 4 episodes of something, of course they won't watch it any further, but if those four episodes just can't drag them on, that's a different story, there are animes that seem boring to someone in the first few episodes and later become their favorite, I know that's why which was the case for me. I know that life does not give us enough time, but it is not bad to sometimes give a chance to something that may not be good at first but becomes good later. Of course I'm not saying that Houseki no Kuni is bad. A better example would be Sword Art Online, a lot of people don't like the first season and the second part of the second season (I personally like the first season and only dislike a few episodes of the second half of the second season) whether it's because of personal opinion or other issues is for another discussion but we can generally agree that the third and fourth seasons (Alicization and War of Underworld) are ten times better, if it was like that from the beginning it would probably be considered one of the best animes ever, at least that's my opinion.
