I’ve watched the original English version so much that the new cast doesn’t do it for me. It’s not bad. But I feel like most of the original VAs voices were so distinct (Akane, Nabiki, Kuno, Ryoga, & Shampoo) that I can’t hear them any other way. It had more character imo

The o.g. dub was better imo. I really don't like Soun's voice with this version. I'll watch it sub going forward

For me the English dub is irrelevant. But if it’s your think, whatever…
Only answering the question as the poll had no suitable option.

I grew up with the original Dub. Finding out everyone was changed. So I switched to JP with original JP cast

I watched the sub up to around 50 eps earlier this year so the dub is nice to give it a different feel

The English dubbing is very bad in my opinion, maybe because I'm not used to it but...it sounds unpleasant.

It was fine for me. Definitely different than the original but that doesn't make it bad. I'm curious how Ryoga will sound

Unlike the rest of these people, I don’t let nostalgia dictate my opinions. It’s a great dub but i do like the original’s dub. I’m not switching over to the sub until the rewatch.

I actually like it since I never watched the dub of the OG. I wish the dub came out faster though. I watched episode 2 with subs, but I don’t think I want to continue waiting for it

I find the English dub very entertaining so far as I couldn't stop laughing.

It's been okay except for Tatewaki voice. He is supposed to be proud and arrogant. Whoever they got for the remake is not cutting it compared to the original. At the moment I dread who they choose for Kodachi's voice.

I feel like the original dub successfully gives Kuno the same "idiot who thinks he's cool and thoughtful" vibe that makes him hilarious in the sub. The new dub just makes him sound like he actually IS deep and thoughtful. But it's still good, just a different take than what I'm used to. Just need to adjust to it a bit. PLUS I'm sure the VA is having a blast getting to be involved with Ranma 1/2!

I'm scared to find out how this dub will handle Shampoo. Jusenkyo tour guide in episode 1 had no Chinese accent so I'm wondering if they'll do Shampoo the same. Fingers crossed though!

I really prefer this new dub to the old cast, that was rough as many 90's dubs are and I had to switch to subbed after a while. Its fine for its time but hard to watch nowadays.

Ryouga episode just released and he is voiced by Damien Haas(Laios in Delicious in Dungeon).

I hope they don't mess up Shampoo by not giving any accent. That was one role where the old dub I thought was good. Maybe the accent doesn't need to be thick but I hope theres at least a slight accent.

Waiting? Its a same day dub release as the sub.

It seemed really to different for me at first but i think i'm growing into getting use to these new voices. I will say tho the number one for sure for me that did a good job was the voice for kasumi, the voice actress did great.

As someone who has never seen the original dub I can say that I like this new one quite a bit! The voices seem to fit the characters well and all the lines are delivered well so far.
