| It's one of those openings that I initially feel are meh but get better the more I watch them. Here are some possible references I spotted: —It starts with a cymbal just like the OG. —Then, when when the scrolls with faces come in, one of Akane's faces (the second scroll to come in if anyone reading this has never watched or read it before) is the same one she has while dancing at 0:43 of OG. —At 0:47 they do the same dance as 0:12 of OG. —At 1:26 they make the same pose that they do at the end of the OG opening (it's also a common pose in fiction, but let me dream). |
