I definitely was not expecting a season 2. Given that the manga is ending very soon. So I'm really surprised and happy that it's finally getting the love it deserves.

It was a surprise cause how poorly Disney promoted it.
Well absolutely welcomed one though.

@WaterMage it aired on Japan TV , don’t think Disney is factoring into its renewal.

@Mattinator95 yeah I am glad it's popular in Japan. Because internationally it received no attention as is said.
Absolutely worthless company.

@ARK-13 Looking at the layout of arcs, if they do something similar to this, we'd end season 2 leading into the final arcs, which, as expected, involve a time skip. It'd be like 80+ chapters to get to that point, about chapter 170 and then another 80 chapters or so would get to the end, assuming the manga ends in the next few months.

@WaterMage Isn't it also on Hulu? Technically Disney has a major stock in that, but I think the marketing has picked up, emphasizing that Hulu has more anime

@holdingnothing I mean compared to their other originals (Undead Unluck, Ranger Reject, and The Fable) they did advertise it alongside Bleach and Sandland for Animayhem

@NaruMembrane Yeah, I kind of stumbled onto that advertisement at some point. I hope it does better than Amazon's attempt, which I forget the name, but I remember it barely lasted a year, it was so bad. There's virtually no simulcasts nowadays, though I think they still get some (Chi's Sweet Adventure for a personal favorite)
