| We don't know since nobody related to the show has commented on this but we can assume that the original studio, Drive, withdrew from the production at some point during the 5 year production hell. |

Because Drive was credited for production before when the project was announced, yet not only does episode 1 not feature any Drive-related staff, but it credits Fugaku for production, and one of the animation producers is their own representative director, showing the overall management is in different hands. Originally It was confirmed to be a collaboration between Drive and Akatsuki. Its likely a collaboration between Drive, Akatsuki, Fugaku and maybe one more studio.  |
