Haven't seen the original so can't really compare but I've heard the remake was a bit more serious in tone. I liked it overall as well.

yes the pacing was a lot better and the voice actors were a lot better, imo the art style was true to style but in an improved way - the reboot has perfectly made an old series fit for a modern audience

there's a meaning to that

It’s far better paced in the remake and has decent animation to it. I’d say the 90’s version has some better attention to detail and color palette as well as more charm (prolly because its older) and honestly some better animation as well but the remake is following the source material extremely well. Personally I’d say watch both but if you don’t really care enough to, the remakes good enough.

Both have their own charm in my opinion. While they pacing is a lot better in the new one (only judging 2023 s1), the old one has a lot of heart. The animation is the classic 90s but the art direction, stylistic choices and the ost uplifts. It might be nostalgia speaking but I think it's too early to judge. The real test of old vs new would be the Kyoto arc afterall.

I watched a video of compare remake with 90s version in YouTube and almost 80% of people said 90s version is alot better

1.Because of the amazing soundtrack
2.mature and realistic artstyle and art
3.color design and some other things I don't remember

But remake

1.somehow has better animation
2.fathful to materials

90s version has heart
And remake is soulless
