| Giichi and Jin's backstory at last... Giichi is shaken when Jin confesses that he likes him, and is almost swept away by the moment. However, it turns out they had met years ago as children through a movie. After watching Giichi's work, Jin was moved by the passion that films can convey. One calm evening, the two sit side by side in the dormitory, watching a long movie together and talking about their club activities and future after graduation. Finally, Giichi tells Jin that he wants to know his true feelings. What a happy little conclusion for Giichi and Jin. |

| LOVED IT! 5/5 They have such a large contrast between the two of them. So we got 4 episode, 3 episode, will the next one be 5 episodes, or will there be a culmination or future episode last? That pink haired guy looks like would make a great femboy. so far 2nd romance has been the best, let's see if 3rd one can be on par or beat it! phantomfandom said: It's gonna be a hard challenge for the third couple because the second couple set the bar high. | @moeanao In all honesty I'm shookt that they adapted as much as they did of their love scene! Like most of it but preparation & with it gone is my fav line that makes Jin one of my fav tops of all time😭(and that's a rare occurrence in itself because I'm usually captain of whichever bottom's protection squad, haha!) But yes, actually I'm so pleased. And dw, I don't understand the limits of Japanese censorship either. Clearly there exists some sort of A Line, because they censored Hisashi & Mao kissing before they go at it in their dorm for the nth time in so many days, but in this ep Jin & Giichi kissed at least 3 or 4 uncensored times. Then the main anime of Given (ik, different studio, the point being that it's BL) allows an uncensored kiss in the main series, but strategically employs a curtain in the OVA. Maybe there are some (un)written rules we don't get to see which dictate that certain framings of kisses & intimacy are acceptable in a regular series while others would sequester it to the genre of hardcore, dirty ecchi. Maybe they throw darts to decide at this point, and wonder what they can get away with. We may never know. |

They don't have to show anything that's too much for the censorship, but at least make them move instead of just still pictures! It's driving me nuts hahaha. After all, we're here to see them animated, not just colored panels with some sparkles. |

The still moments during intimate scenes feel very “Artsy R15 visual novel” to me so I feel like that’s kind what they were going for. Kinda a compromise between animating a censored sex scene and just showing nothing. It also just fits the vibe imo. I feel like animating it for the sake of making them move for visual stimulation could end up just looking awkward. That’s just my insight tho! |

| @moeanao but, my sister in Christ, that's what I'm trying to say😭Low-key I'm willing to bet my kidney that this is a form of censorship. Because censorship is not linear, consistent nor well-defined, so they are probably taking stabs in the dark as to what they can get away with! Like it's not even internally consistent because we've had Jin & Giichi kiss full on the mouth several time this latest episode, including during sex, whereas with Hisashi & Mao they stopped short several times of showing their lips connecting in ep 4 when the kisses are fully there in the manga. I don't think it's a matter of laziness or budget constraints because Deen have been cooking and serving with this series! I might be wrong, of course, but my working theory is that they are adapting a low-key erotic manga that stops short of being pornographic (because it never never calls for censor bars etc.) into a regular anime, so they really don't wanna fall into the hole that is hentai. @Haylen I so agree with you on that! Both on the point regarding animation choices, and the vibe. Maybe I'm an outlier, but the slideshow against the soft lighting and the sensual music almost titillates me more than I believe movement would here xD I just wish they'd given Jin his line , Giichi's line telling him to do what he wants and not worrying about him becomes a non-sequitur without it. Plus I want my soft tops bingo 😭 maybe it's on the drama CD? hm hm |

| I keep going back to each episode multiple times, and I am very much obsessed. But it's just... a different vibe to any other BL I've seen. When did you last see an uke chuckle fondly as he smirks and eagerly goes for round 2? It's so lovely. My heart expands. |

| JinIchi's biopic will be titled: Boku no Tsundere Megane Boys Rabu~ How I stopped eating gyoza, and started eating my pretty bf instead. In selected cinemas, 2025. I doubt the third ship will be nearly as good. |

| Jin's backstory of gyoza family royalty, being a plump boy who met Giichi at an art awards ceremony for kids, that's where the love for cinematography stems for both. And growing up, Jin hasn't changed one bit, and Giichi is slowly getting reeled in, being full of confidence that he becomes an instant celebrity in preparation for their private night together, watching a movie to convey their feelings for one another, within the movie that sees a rather lengthy showcase in the midst of passionate sex. All the effort from the movie creation, and so much time has passed that Jin's time in school is slowly coming to an end. And their relationship...is only just beginning, amidst Ichikawa making a documentary to Jin and the outgoing 3rd Years of the Film Club. A love-hate relationship sums both Jin and Giichi together. |

| No more Jin or Ichikawa ugh...how could they tease us like that? Now I'm gonna be so disinterested in Mao and Hisashi more than I lowkey already was *cries* I guess I mostly dislike Mao because he's 1 dimensional. We know nothing of him other than he likes shooting films and likes Hisashi. |
