If only same thing happened with The Rising Of The Shield Hero.
WHAT WOULD BE U'RE Reaction.
What I mean is " I think from the review and forums of reincarnated as slime , they are adapting almost everything from LN without skipping important parts. But u know that
But with
As good as The Rising Of The Shield Hero-l was ,the succesior could not achieved that targets."
If 8bit adapted that shit would u be happy 🙃.

I'm posting this some watchers are yapping about boring meetings. Episode atleast u're we're not getting butcher episode.🥹🥲🥲.

Here the solution if u're not liking the slow pacing of slime. "U can wait for 5-6episodes and watch them at a time and wait for next batch.

People complain about the meetings, I enjoy the peak. That is their headache. As for The Rising of The Shield Hero, you may be right there.

I personally love that they're sticking so close to the novel. yes there's a lot of talking, meeting, and building up. and I understand some may find it boring. but some is about remiru building a national for him and his friends to enjoy peaceful lives, with several fraction working behind the scenes. considering those 2 points I think it's obvious even without reading the books, that there would be lots of talking. I mean you got
1. remiru and his subordinates
2. tempest and allies
3. the holy church
4. eastern empire
5. falmuth
6. the central bank family that controls the entirety of the western nations
7. 10 demon lords
8. 7 primordial demons
9. what's his name working with kaziliam
and those are just the fractions we know of and some characters are in more than 1 fraction

we do have several conflicts incoming
1. tempest vs falmuth
2. tempest vs the central bank family controlling the west
3. tempest vs eastern empire
4. remiru vs kalizam and frinds
5. and while they haven't appeared yet, they been mentioned multiple xs now. but tempest& allies vs angels
6. and while most demon lords become allies, non aggression pact formed, or even resident of tempest themselves there's still demon lord guy crimson, 1 of 7. primordial demons with 2 other primordial demons serving him+ valdora's sister
8. subtract the 3 stated above and Diablo, that leaves 3 primordial still available to cause trouble .....maybe... dont wanna spoil what they do.

there's just so much going on on all simultaneously. of course there's going to be talking. imagine how confusing it'd be if there wasn't?

as for rising of the shield hero, unlike slime, I haven't read the novels yet, so I can't speak on that. but the more a show sticks to the source, the better in my opinion, tho there are always exceptions

anime only I love the context before something happens if shield hero had more talking before battle I would rate it higher, having context is always better for the viewers to know what is going on and why they are there if not that likes Luffy going on his adventure without the intro back story and just skipping how each of his crew joined the team like having 1 episodes of all his crew joining his team that would be bad big time.

I think so too. The talk and the politics are a significant part of the anime, that make it good.

As a LN reader, I am happy to see the Slime anime give more important information where it's needed. But I really don't understand any of you who defend how poorly they managed to go about it.

There are plenty of anime that exist with a large amount of talking, and yet are still way more enjoyable to watch. Slime S3, just didn't do a good job adapting the material to the new medium. You could literally take all those talking episodes, turn them into an audiobook and you wouldn't miss a thing because that's how little animation was involved.

I mean, let's just take Spice and Wolf for example, it's mostly just talking about economics, trading, wolves, sheep, etc with a bit of love and drama now and then. It's enjoyable to watch because the characters are animated in a way that is fun to watch. How they interact, their expressions, body language, etc. You seriously can't look at Slime S3 ... and tell me you think they did a good job just because it's faithful to the LN in terms of information. If that is all you care about then just read the LN. The whole point of it being adapted to animation is to have animation. Right!? Am I crazy here to think that?

@MarchinBunny idk but personally, as an anime only who doesn't have enough free time to read the whole novel, I loved the meetings. All of them

I'm also a fan of rising the shield hero but, yeah. The adaptation went somewhere that's hard to accept. Especially the 2nd one.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
