| @NewestPersonHere They actually do - well, almost. Masachika was barely able to keep up with Alya during the dance. I reckon they should've animated it, nonetheless. There will be another flashback of their dance in S2, so they might animate it partially. |

First part : He helps Alya dancing and shining on stage Second part : Alone in the dark he follows Alya's star to see the light again. Third part : Even though he has his own issue when Alya is alone in the dark he gives up on his own torments and shields Alya Last part : They face each other in the light showing how they trust each other for better days to come. The opening from 0:52 really shows the dance scene while translating into images what required words in the novel. And that's what you call a masterpiece |

The dance scene defines who Masachika and his relation with Alya are.That's exactly what they show in the opening.
First part : He helps Alya dancing and shining on stage
Second part : Alone in the dark he follows Alya's star to see the light again.
Third part : Even though he has his own issue when Alya is alone in the dark he gives up on his own torments and shields Alya
Last part : They face each other in the light showing how they trust each other for better days to come.
