 Tsuda also didn't read the transition of the war because he raised a valid point that he cannot send his soldiers to war-field where loss is inevitable. At this point, Takumi seems so shrewd - he called out on the bluff of Kadomatsu as well. This guy is too mysterious and what are his real intentions? Also, it seems like the soldiers are going to rescue soldiers and try not to change history but it seem pretty impossible to me at this point. Let's what next! |

| At last, the fuel and supplies have arrived for Mirai to take, but not without its price, now with Tsuda having witnessed this gloriously futuristic warship, he is now certain about the 'story' of the time slip. Seeing the shock and amazement on his face is absolutely satisfying, witness at the marvel of contemporary engineering! However, this little side tour is yet again, not without its negatives. Unlike Kusaka, he hasn't got the will and strength to open the pandora's box and see for himself the horrors that are about to befall Japan and its citizens. And the very fact that the Mirai crew is speaking in a western accent and the existence of a vending machine on the warship itself is an overwhelmingly accurate indication that Japan of the 21st century has integrated western cultures and technology to its own citizens. On the other side it seems that my thought did come true after all, Mirai and her crews will be participating in a war, not to fight but to defend literally any humans involved in it, that seemed awfully optimistic, but the captain really put it into words nicely... "Kusaka's words are like narcotics, dangerous, yet sweet." Perfectly said. |
