| I really enjoyed season 1 and have been patiently waiting for a season 2 to be announced. This gives me a reason to re-watch the anime again. Hopefully it is as good as the first season. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

| @Avvenirista I'm still kinda doubtful but I saw newest PV and it had more scenes that I can't recognize so probably you are right (but I could just forgot them lol). And it would be funny if this sequel completely skipped unfinished story from previous season. |

| @Nieznajomy43 Don't worry, Maou-sama, Retry! R is nothing more than the continuation of the original story, nothing will be skipped or left behind. The ''R'' in the title was added to the original novels and the comic adaptation because the former switched illustrators and started getting published under another print label by the same publisher. |

| @Nieznajomy43 I seriously doubt that the R anime will skip things like Otamega, the Prison Dungeon etc. from the last part of the previous iteration of the comic adaptation. After all, that stuff could be easily shown in just a couple of episodes. |
