Episode felt slightly different than usual mostly because of Hikari. Tbh, I believe they were aiming for a sad episode since she has a disease that seems incurable.

Didn't change that Kaito is still fighting dungeons in the other world though.

Miku's characterization with Hikari, with the latter almost gravely losing her life due to her body illness after meeting her in a setting of playing TCG cards together (and a pseudo Yu-Gi-Oh at that), both got their start being friends with the same common interest, only for the former to learn the truth about her total organ failure, which is known to the rest thereafter through her father, despite him knowing that his own daughter wandered the dungeon with her friend, believing that this is what she wanted.

And like a miraculous recovery back then, Miku wanting to find a specific elixir to help cure her illness, both Airi and Kaito join the task to help find the urban legend within the dungeon, and they still have aways to go before reaching the item.

Time to push for the illusive item then...

So I guess we'll be forced to listen to that insipid song whenever they go into battle from now on.

Wow, is he finally going to tell Katsuragi the truth? (Even though she already knows)

This is the most interesting episode up to this point by far. It finally seems like there is an actual problem/danger (even though they will probably miraculously find the elixir). Animation was quite disappointing as was the soundtrack/design. Did we really need a cut-in of Syl singing again?
Censorship is vandalism.

I wish I had a friend who would devote their life to exploring dungeons in order to find an elixir because I'm dying of an incurable disease.

Well looks like I was wrong to think Hikari would be fine this episode, turns out she has an incurable illness that has now hospitalized her, and she apparently won’t live past new years even, damn shit just got real lol. But there is a way to save her, an elixir that can only be found in the dungeon, but they don’t even know if it’s real or not lol, but it is cool that we have a proper objective now besides just dungeon crawling, I’m looking forward to seeing how the gang finds the elixir, because I’m guessing with one episode left it will happen next episode, if not that will be a bit of a fucked place to leave us at lol.

I also enjoyed the bits of backstory for Miku and Hikari, they used to be pro trading card players and even won a tournament together, and it was after discovering Hikari’s illness when they decided to explore the dungeon together for the elixir, although a bit upsetting I thought it was a nice backstory, I also thought Hikari’s dad was cool, I was expecting an asshole rich dad but thankfully not. Also, I coulda swore this show said it was 11 episodes for a while but now it says 12, I’m fine with that I guess but I can’t deny that I kinda wish the next one was the end lol, sorry Gekkou, I love you guys but this one isn’t quite as good as your previous shows.

And edit 3 hours later lol, forgot to mention that they brought the first ED back for this episode, tho I’m not complaining because I think I like it better than the 2nd one, it’s a jam for sure.

The production of this number of episodes was not a gross production, but an animation created with Gekkou, but the animation is still not stable.

You can see some cheap animation here and there.

The story was overly packed and it felt like a roller coaster ride. Combined with the fact that the drawings are cheap, the result is disappointing.

The ED has returned to the ED of episodes 1-6.

Gekkou did not share with the original author Kawakaito that the ED would change every seven episodes, and I feel a lot of anxiety about the communication of information to those around them and the management system.

There used to be two general animation directors for episodes 1 to 6, but now there is only one person, Mr. Koto.
Action animator Jun Arai has not appeared since episode 7, so it appears that several prominent animators have left the project midway through.
This also shows how bad Gekkou's management is.

It's just terrible that they are making gross production entirely.

I can't feel anything that becomes interesting after episode 11.

@TheColonel76 Well, a rich Father who is NEITHER distant/absent or a complete Arsehole. Colored me shocked, I need to see more of this in Anime'. That is all we usually get of Anime' High School parents of rich kids when they appear at all. And being supportive of her dangerous passion for the dungeon? Bonus points Dad!

Well, at least our dude seems to have a hidden skill for rare drops or something at least, so that makes their chances of finding an elixir better I guess.

I really liked the backstory between Hikari and Miku showing us how they became best friends and their motivation for finding the Elixir.
I was actually a shop champions for Weiss Schwarz once, I love playing tCG's.
I just hope someone in their party can find one soon.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

Heh. I was almost expecting that the elixir would show up on the black market and someone would just buy it. With his rare drop rate he doesn't get the elixir but something else super valuable and uses it to buy it.

Hmm. I do wonder if there is something being said with the amount of rich families involved that they are unable to do anything. The poorest of them all shall save the day?

Sad episode indeed.
Hikarin having an incurable illness—
—but because of something else.
Tragic.

Now, what can Kaito do for our sweet Hikarin?! >_<

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

God, this got so cliché. The untimely insert songs and lazy action scenes have only gotten worsened by some stupid low-level melodrama which we all know how's gonna end.

This feels like something Jun Maeda would write after you beat him hard enough to bring his IQ down to 80.
Pretend there's something flashy and cool here.

I wish this anime was all about MC and the 2 lolis growing up. It was a lot funnier and cute before. Now it's just meh. All the characters after those 2 are bloody annoying and this forced drama, oh gosh.

A couple of things about this episode:

I feel like I just had a condensed version of every cliche involving a ill-girl mary-sue heart-of-the-cards easily-forgiven-for-lying-to-the-dad type of story. I feel like you could get a good story out of this if you had set it all up, but throwing all that out in a single episode...in the first half no less...you just show how cheaply this show is.

Animation looks like it took a dive for the deck in quality. Its just got two episodes to go, its like its struggling for the finish line.

This episode's random illness drama felt like they add it in just to make the series have some sort of Drama.

I literally just skim through it (by skipping 5 sec every sec)

.

The whole thing was just so they can show off MC's massive luck in finding rare items that normally only appears in deeper floors.

.

That dude in early episode threads was right... this series would have been more enjoyable if they kept the focus on the Lolis and not censor or change them into side characters.

I like this series, it's a shame that some moments are so poorly produced 😔 but I still enjoy it <3

This is my favorite scene. I enjoyed how they gradually unveiled that hazy memory, adding color to it little by little ❤️
