A very realistic take on the romance genre by saying most romantic relationships rarely last which is true for the most part. |

No not at all. There’s possibly a romance that could form with the blue haired girl and main boy but it’s not even certain that will happen. It focuses on what the losing girl in a romcom is supposed to do after the guy gets with the other girl and it’s honestly really fun |

A-lil-weeb-dog said: Is it a harem? If it is then I won't watch it Not a harem, and does not look like it will be at all. There is a little chemistry with Anna and Nukumizu but at this point in time there are no romantic feelings between them. Think of it as this way, the main character acts like the guy girls talk to about their love ones. So he’s basically friendzoned which is about as far from harem as it can get. |

I'm really not a fan of the art style for how they draw characters. It reminds me of Rugrats BUT that being said I think the story and mystery of the series is worth the watch. No harem vibes but there is a student teacher thing but the story is worth it. |

The show is keeping it vague if the main character is even going to have a love interest let alone a harem, both are plausible but not really hinted at. Itys really he just happens to be around a bunch of people who got heartbroken, |

I could once again remind you that this is not a harem and does not intend to be one, but God, how tired I am of harem phobia. @A-lil-weeb-dog No, because you haven't explained how harem anime contradict the idea of monogamy. Shouldn't the MC choose one single girl at the end of most of these shows? How is this polygamous? If you have multiple girls crushes on you, does that make you polyamorous? Or are you one of those people who think that gay crushing of one character on the other makes both characters gay? |

Or are you one of those people who think that gay crushing of one character on the other makes both characters gay? bruh, Ok. You thought all of that up in your own head. I literally said none of that. But if you want to hear what I think, then fine. Here goes: Harem has 2 types, the one where the guy gets to choose one girl at the end of the show, that's Monogamy, the other one where he plays with all of them at the same time, that's polygamy. So, the reason why I don't like harem as a whole is because I like Monogamy, which admittedly, Monogamy includes the first one. But, and a big BUT here. Personally for me and many others, we don't like seeing many girls fighting over one guy, or many guys fighting over one girl. What we like is 2 main characters and their story, and how they end up together. Which leads to this: I don't like Harem because it doesn't suit my taste, you can't force me to watch something I don't like. That's why I ask before watching a new show, so I won't be disappointed when it turns out to be something I don't like. Are we absolutely clear here? |

@A-lil-weeb-dog I never said that you like monogamous harems. So I can direct your question about reading to you yourself. I just asked a question about the fact that you first state that you don’t like harems because of monogamy, but then you state that some harems are still monogamous. @A-lil-weeb-dog There is nothing wrong with not liking love drama and conflict. But what does this have to do with monogamy and polygamy? Not to mention you'll also find a ton of this in completely non-harem shows, harems don't have a monopoly on love conflicts. |

@Azeyuntolo because I find his argumentation very strange and as if demonstrating a complete lack of understanding of how the thing he dislikes so much works. @A-lil-weeb-dog Stop, stop. So you don't like polygamy or love conflicts? These things have no direct connection. And you still haven’t named me a single polygamous harem, which is why I can’t even understand why you think polygamy is meta for harems. Because of love conflicts? But there is a lot of this outside of harems and it is not directly related to polygamy as such. |

@A-lil-weeb-dog this guy's lying out of his ass, said cute girls are not romantically involved with the protagonist (as of now), so it does not count as a harem. They are, though, involved in a romantic triangle with two other secondary characters each (a guy who they like and another girl who becomes the guy's lover), so I guess that could count as your definition of "having girls fight over a guy", even though said guy is not the MC and they practically lose instantly (hence the name of the show). I think that you'll miss a really nice show with pretty good characters if you skip it because you think this is a harem, I'd say watch the first episode and if it's not your cup of tea just drop it. You don't need to watch three episodes to get the feel of this show, you get introduced to all main characters and the overall plot straight away. However, this show IS a school life slice-of-life comedy (with a bit of drama), so if that turns you off I'd stay away. |

@KorhalChild if a love triangle makes a show a harem, then 90% of romance shows are harem, including half of OP's own favorite romance shows. For some strange reason, he just decided that only harems have love conflicts. @Azeyun No, we don't know. Please don't pass off your own expectations of the show as some obvious dogma that everyone should accept. The author refuses to even consider the original LN to be a romance at all, let alone a harem. And I don't see them admitting that this is a harem show, they just said that this show has elements that the OP might mistake for a harem, but it isn't. |

@A-lil-weeb-dog A love triangle is literally three people, of which 1 or 2 have one-sided feelings, what are you talking about? None? Horimiya literally has a lesbian girl hopelessly in love with a female lead, as well as a big subplot about a girl with urequited crush on a male lead friend. And this is not to mention the romantic shows that you gave high ratings like Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou. |

@A-lil-weeb-dog How does this contradict the fact that the feelings of someone in the triangle are not reciprocated? The very idea of a love triangle makes it impossible for all three people to reciprocate their feelings, this is obvious. I thought you just didn't know tropes well, remembering how you stated that harem anime are polygamous, but it seems like you don't quite understand the logic of this even on a meta level. |

You say Horimiya and Mabouroushi just means 2 things:
1, You haven't watch Horimiya, Sawada, the girl you mentioned had a crush on the FMC but that's it, no triangle there
2, I gave Maraboushi a nine because of how I rank animes, you should know this because the first thing in my Profile is literally giving you what ny rankings means, you must have ignored all the text because you have seen Mabouroushi on the list. And since you seem to have not watched Mabouroushi either, lete tell you, if that movie was a real love triangle, then that would turn the plot into dogshit incest
@A-lil-weeb-dog Sorry dude, not only did I watch all the anime, I also read the manga. 1. Yes, it's a love triangle. Sawada's character arc was literally about how she tried to compete with MC, but eventually backed down after realizing they had a happy mutual relationship. This is a typical love triangle where the character loses because she is the third wheel in someone else's love story. 2. Will you always claim that people didn't watch the show if they read it differently than you? Yes, it was literally incest, the characters even directly discussed it in the finale. This is why their daughter lost the love triangle because they realized that she was their daughter. |
