As soon as I finished S2 of Made in abyss it instantly became one of my favourite animes. It's so beautiful yet so traumatising that I love it. The writing, the characters, the music everything is so well done. Can't wait for the next season.
Although I admit that I don't wanna experience the same traumatising scenes ever again. This show is truly underrated imo. Why most people didn't continue after season 1?!

Made in Abyss isn't underrated. All 3 main installments are in the top 100 highest-rated. That means it's overall well-loved by the community.

I would assume that the reason many didn't continue is because of the lolisho elements.

I agree with you that I don't wanna to rewatch it either.

Except for me Season 2 is boring.

Season 1 and Bondrewd Movie were really great though, would totally rewatch them again :)

By underrated I meant to say that I never heard people talk or saw posts about it. Only a few times I saw this in reels or meme pages. Being this good and not getting the amount of popularity it deserves made me say that.
Where mangas with trash adaptations like Tokyo ghoul or Promised Neverland are much more popular.
