Twilight Out of Focus
| I had been hearing decent things about it and decided to check it out, booted up Crunchyroll and i saw that the series had a shockingly low rating Curious, i came here and, to my surprise, the score was a bit low too (it was worse before but now it has gone up somewhat), on the Stats page there is an abnormally high amount of people giving it a 1 score What happened? from what i understand BL anime is not huge enough to often attract review-bombings, was there some drama or something? |

| And the funny thing is, at the time comments & reviews got removed from Crunchyroll, only 1 or 2 episodes had been out. None of these trolls even knew this particular BL would go harder than any regular BL had gone before |

Were the reviews just because of homophobia or did people who actually watched the anime gave it a low rating because of the sexual assault scene. Crunchyroll had been promoting it a lot on their social media pages so I wasn't expecting that.

| 1. Both are still male so he would have required considerable power to hold him down. 2. Even if he thought it was sensei there was no consent, he just got down on him like an animal 3. I haven't seen the crunchyroll comments or reviews but I often come across fujoshis and fudanshis straight out calling people homophobic if they don't like BL even when sexual violence or toxic relationships are being romanticized in the series, I surely wouldn't trust these people randomly throwing away the word homophobe without any proof 4. Goblin Slayer and SAO became controversial because of rape scenes even though it wasn't between the people that are supposed to end up as a couple unlike how BL always does it, stop playing the victim thinking that it's only BL that's being attacked unjustly. Lastly you should become a lawyer, a lot of sexual offenders are waiting for you to help them. |

| What probably happened is some “anti-woke” YouTuber somewhere was starving for content and clicks and found a LGBTQ anime on the seasonal list. So they hastily put together a poorly edited video about how Sony/Crunchyroll/all of Japan is cAvInG tO tHe WoKe mOb and their NPC subscribers review bombed the show |

| @rohan121 At the same time, men love yuri, and women love male ecchi content. Our life is quite ironic, isn't it? @MarylandIzumiKun It sounds cool, but judging by the bots with the same copy-paste, most likely it was organized by one person. Plus I've never seen anti-woke activists complain about a BL or yuri anime just because it's gay. Most anti-woke bloggers only found out about this because of the measures introduced by CR, without hearing about any attack. |
