| I don't mind "slow" moving donghua, but then it has to have actual plot. This season has been so water. The swamp arc took forever and barely anything happened and this monkey is getting too much screentime. Also that grandpa and the girl with the dog guy got so much screentime. Could've genuinely be done in like 5 episodes instead. |

| Xiao Hui absorbed the energy and became a giant gorilla. At least he can fight alongside ZXF now instead of just riding on his shoulder and being protected. |
