Are non-magic items/weapons allowed in the tournament or not? And where does Will get his sword(s) from?

In episode 5, when the squad was fighting the golems, I’m pretty sure non-magic items weren’t allowed. That is why Will said that by using Colette's magic item, he wouldn’t break any rules, so why is a sword allowed in the other obstacles or fights? Also, in episode 1, I’m pretty sure Will used two different swords while fighting the Evil Sentinel. Where did he get the other one from? And I didn’t notice his sword in episode 5 until he started wielding it. Where does he store it (them)? Can someone clarify all this?

Use of swords or any non magic item is prohibited in the tournament. The sword will is using now was made by colette with earth magic , so it's allowed, it's the same sword as that. When will was fighting the sentinel , the other sword belonged to the sentinel which Will used to defeat him.
This is only what I believe, If I'm wrong please correct me 😊

The sword was weilded by the evil Sentinel. After chopping off its arm, Will weilded its sword.

Episode 5.
Those swords were created by Collete using Earth Magic. So I think it is considered as a magic item.

Will’s sword isn’t a magic object, but Colette Loire imbued it with her Earth Magic and that was the sword wielded by Evil Sentinel from the dungeon. So, it is not a simple sword and because it has Colette’s Earth Magic, it’s allowed in the tournament.
