As the titles suggests and I don’t mind OVAs being recommended either, I really liked this anime and the 90s feel so another anime like this would be nice to watch

yeah this is on whole different level man...i was surprised wn i watched this tooo....its amazing series...

Yeah the atmosphere and the OST were fantastic, I need more animes like these to watch

The obvious choices I can think of right now are Trigun 98 and Cowboy Bebop. I'm sure there are some other ones but I can't remember them T_T

I think Mononoke (2006, not the Miyazaki's one) and Mushishi can give the same vibe

I haven’t seen Mushishi yet so I’ll definitely move that higher up on my list

Gargantia on the Verduous Planet has the same post-apocalyptic water planet vibes. also giant robot. def more light-hearted though
